Anyone received the Feather Charm?

The leather belongs on 2 bags so far in the fall collection, Dakota and Tatum tote I believe. Maybw they forgot to hang them on "all" the bags?

Could be...or possibly they should have been offered as free gifts or allowed as a special purchase if you bought the right bag. It's really going to rankle Coach buyers if we find out that the leather ones are only offered to overseas customers as well. As much as those Rhyders cost, they should come hanging on every one of them!

The hangtag wristlet can absolutely be ordered (mine is on its way) and my SA's said its part of a second wave of release. 52507 if you want to call and order, its pebbled leather and comes in all the bright colors to match the Rhyder.

Oh, okay. I was beginning to think that the hang tag wristlets were going to be an overseas exclusive too!

If you call Jax when an overseas exclusive is still in the U.S., you can order the item. That is what I thought was going on with the hang tag wristlet.

Per an SA at the San Fran Store yesterday, they do a lot of sample and prototype, in the case of those hangtags, they decided not to go with multi-colored and left the hang tags matching the bags. That's why they appear different in the photo.

PS - she also found an item number for the mysterious purple bag in the photo. Its a metallic leather Rhyder 32, but who knows if it will ever happen?

I would have purchased different color tags...too bad they didn't make those available!

Style number is 33602, I know I'll be watching like a hawk. The swatch of the metallic purple leather I saw yesterday was glorious, I'm SO hoping they do something with that color/leather!

There's also 33686--crackle leather. No info but supposedly it is also a 32.

the ones I was told that New York had was the 50.00 feather hang tag one.
The one that had a "G" at the end of the style number.
When I asked a SA to look up the number - she did. And there was nothing in all the US stores except 120 in New York. There was nothing in JAX.
So...I don't know anyone in New York to ask about their stock.
I was thinking maybe they will have an event there as well with their "Select" advertisement. On Facebook they said get the rhyder 33 now available in select stores. This is how they will say it. It was a gift with purchase in select stores. This is my guess. Regardless - I still don't like it was advertised and can't be purchased. Some people don't care about it - but its what I wanted to buy on Sept. 12 debut day. I was disappointed. I would of ordered it from the store if it was available...but it's not available to be ordered.

Could be, I really didn't think about it, just kinda assumed she was talking about the metal ones since it was long determined that the leather feather ones were for giveaways.....and a lot of us were still hoping that the metal ones could be bought.

I have to agree with other posters, Coach hasn't just shot themselves in the foot, but in BOTH feet.

Was thinking the same.

I wondered if one of the two styles of fobs was supposed to be hung on bags for sale also. The one with chain, no hook or ring.

But it's Coach. Who knows what they are thinking. I can't believe they re-routed ones back to the warehouse that were already mid-shipment to customers. How petty! Did they think they would get the opportunity to hand that buyer a "gift" one?

Except that if they should have been included with Dakota and Tatum they would not have separate SKUs.

My Dakota came with one attached already...it was not bagged separately. I ordered directly from JAX.

A lot of people like the pop of color....that is why they bought the duffle sets so they could make that pop of color.

Coach should have gotten a clue from that and sold a set of hang tags that would include a variety of color. THAT would have been a very good money maker.

There are a LOT of people who want the 32, which is why Coach probably didn't make it. They seem to scrap the most wanted items.

And do they still seriously wonder why they're in the red?

The small dakotas come with the leather feather charm but the large dakotas do not.

That is why I bought the $60 charm.

Me too Love that beautiful purple color, but not the bag, not anymore....not after I stopped by Macy's yesterday to check out the new bags and they only had black one...and unfortunately it was a big turn off because of the quality of the lining they used and the lack of any decoration (yes I mean them leather and metal feathers It just looked so generic and plain and cheaply made Now if only Coach used a better leather, a beautiful print lining (something like Anna Sui dragonfly flower print lining and left the damn feathers on it. Now that could of been a truly beautiful bag!!! In any color.

I started experimenting with this too to see if they got the leather $50 fob with anything or what the limit might be. Check this out...Notice the big display of Studded Edie with the leather fob. But alas when I put Edie in my cart, no leather fob but the metal fob. I also put the Rhyder satchel in my cart and a few others and received the metal fob. However, when I tried the Ryhder 24 there was no free gift so there must be a certain price limit or specific bags


AND on Coach Japan free hangtag gift with Ryder satchels even the 24. But the color of hangtags is the same, the teal I believe, you don't get to choose. Also, for the life of me, I cannot find it again, but one thing I put in my cart I got to choose either the hangtag or the $50 leather feather fob. Not feeling the Coach love in the US I'll tell ya

This new line is becoming a big disappointment for me and I was really looking forward to it, based on their advertising...really hoping now that they do not pull the same thing with Gary Baseman's creature fobs. I have been waiting for some cute fobs and I want them FOBS to be AVAILABLE, learn your lesson Coach!
