anyone own a Longchamp bag

this spring i bought my first longchamp bag - a silver/white leather rodeo tote with detachable messanger type strap. i loved it soooo much... and then i had some trouble with the silver finish on mine. i called the customer service line and they were AWESOME. they offered to replace the bag or give me a credit for the full price of the bag. i loved the style so much i just got the same bag again. no problems with this one.

Sorry to hear that your original bag had a defect! Fortunately, you got it replaced very smoothly.

What kind of trouble did you have with your silver finish? I have a Longchamp mini Rodeo in silver, and it has held up really well. In fact, the silver seems to be rather stain-resistant... I have treated my bag terribly, have put in on the ground etc., but the silver finish has not stained, crackled or crumbled at all.
