Despite the 2 hrs wait in the line I enjoyed the process and did people-watching. I was lucky to exceed my expectations.
By no means I got a lot, but I had lots of fun in the process.

Garden Party sacs are in all shapes, all sizes and all colors you can imagine: rouge inmperial. lichen. brown, orange, midnight, grey tweed, beige tweed. The price is strictly 50% of the respective tag.
Also mini garden party in leather: vermillion, brown, black.
No more than 2 are allowed to buy.

eek... My back was killing me after two hours wait to get inside and two hours wait to pay... but I had to leave with something, right? I honestly thought the sale was so much better back in March, though.

I wish I lived close to an H store for a sale like this. I wouldn't mind lining up for hours to get in and snatch up a few items.

So if I may ask, do they still put the sale items that you purchase in orange boxes with the bolduc and then in the nice H paper bags? Or, do they skip boxing the goods and just put them in the bag?

You do not get boxes or ribbon or nice H bags. The items are loose & tossed in a plain white paper bag, which serves as your shopping bag.

Shoes are still in their boxes.

Ah, jp, you were one of the lucky few to get a shawl!! I'm so jealous! I wish I had seen you - Cinderlala told me you were there, but I didn't want to step off the looonnnggggg line and lose my place in line!

Hi Kelly32! I would have loved to say hello as well. I totally understand not wanting to lose your place in line. I feel like I've spent 90% of my time at the sale standing in line!

Hi Cinderlala, I was a few places in line in front of you...right in front of the african american couple...nice to almost meet you! I was the curly haired brunette with red cashmere shawl that never came out of the white bag...

Congrats jp, did you get a nice cream and black bride de gala by any chance? I saw a pretty, young asian woman holding one on line and my friend's jaw dropped to the floor at the site (if that was you!)

Just came back from sale. No cashmere GM shawl for me unfortunately! I am so disappointed. If anyone sees one during the course of the sale, please report.... The salespeople kept saying they were all sold out yesterday, but you never know.

I agree with whoever said the salespeople were pretty unfriendly and unhelpful (unlike in past years). Maybe because they work for Soiffer Haskin this time and in past years they worked for Hermes.

It was still worth it because I got a great blanket - one that I have always wanted. Didn't expect to see the blankets there. I regret not getting any china, but I'm definitely not getting back into that line today. It took forever to get in.
