Anyone ever purchase at farfetch.com?

I couldn't believe I went through all that trouble I feel scarred now from online shopping.
I know how you feel, but don't give up online shopping yet, there are plenty of other sites =) Generally speaking Farfetch should be safe too, they only partnership with reputable boutiques and also in the safe list for luxury shopping here at tpf. Did you raise the authenticity issue with the boutique too? I think sometimes the boutique doesn't even know the suppliers handed over fake items.

Hello ladies and gents! I've been lurking this thread for awhile now, did some research, took a chance, and placed my first order through Farfetch. First purchase is a YSL small monogram white collège satchel through a boutique in Spain called Idrisi. My bag came today(took a total of 5 days, 1 day for the boutique to process and 4 days including the weekend with DHL shipping) and I'm absolutely in love! Granted my packaging was simple with a dust bag and no YSL box, it was carefully wrapped with extra padding along with a ribbon. I did a full inspection and took many pictures for proof just in case I needed to send her back (I've read the misfortunes of some of the users in here )

I'm thankful for this thread because I was quite nervous about FarFetch to begin with. I guess it really is a hit and miss, you just have to research and take a chance.

Here's my new baby.

Congratulations on your first Farfetch purchase, great bag =) in terms of packaging, the bags normally don't come with original boxes like how it is in store, that's the same with other major sites such as net-a-porter, luisaviaroma etc, so it's quite normal, as long as dust bags and tags are included =)

Advice needed please! Bought a moncler for my baby but it's a little on the small side (still fits but probably not for long). After hearing about the horror stories of returning; I'm wondering a) how much do they deduct for delivery and b)is it safe to return or should I just keep it? Thanks!

I'm from Australia and have never had a refund problem with farfetch. Always a full refund minus shipping cost of course, and I've been shopping with them for about three years. Their customer service is very very very good from my experience. If I need to buy something to test out the size or design I always buy from farfetch or net-a-porter because I know I have no problem returning. Where did you hear the horror return story? It could be when they first started? Or because of your country's custom? In my opinion you can have any issue with farfetch but refund. Hope it helps =)

Thanks so much!!

Hi! I am looking to order a pair of shoes from ff. It says they'll ship from Spain. I'm in the US. From the website it says all duties and taxes are included in the price. Can someone who bought shoes from the US confirm that?
I've emailed ff, but no reply yet.
Thanks!

Hello loveshoes1. I live in Canada and have ordered multiple times from ff. When the package arrives, it is all duty and tax inclusive. Their customer service number is very quick. If you're looking for an immediate answers, call their customer service line. You should be able to speak to a live person and get all your questions answered. Hope this helps:)

Confirmed. Usually comes pretty quickly too as long as the boutique itself doesn't slack off.

Hi all, you may wish to note that there is a relatively high risk of purchasing counterfeit products from farfetch.

I purchased a pair of shoes from farfetch some time back. Outer soles started to split form upper of shoes even though shoes were supposed to be Blake constructed. It was at this point that I realised that shoes may be fake.

I contacted farfetch, but received some boilerplate answer about never selling counterfeit products and invited me to visit the deisgber's boutique. I did just that, and staff at boutique were of the opinion that shoes were not genuine.

Despite this, farfetch refused to process a refund and instead is pushing liability to their partner, and even asking me to seek recourse from Dolce and Gabbana itself, which is patently ridiculous since I had purchaed shoes through their farfetch. Not sure what are they trying to do there because that is just plain silly.

I do not believe that Farfetch intentionally sells counterfeit products. However, I believe the shoes may have been swapped to a counterfeit by a customer on a return order. However, farfetch refuses to do anything about this.

I suggest you do not make any purchases from farfetch. There are various websites to make purchases from which are far more reliable and credible. I am honestly appalled that despite having acknowledged that the shoes may be fakes, they refuse to do anything.
