Anyone ever purchase at farfetch.com?

Has anyone else in the US noticed that Farfetch does something weird with their Isabel Marant items? There is very little inventory on the US site and when there are promos, these items are always out of stock. Yesterday I was going to buy a pair of sandals that were fully stocked and at a lower price. I hesitated and now they are all sold out. Also, I had been eyeing some sneakers and finally when a free shipping promo came up, they were no longer on the site, completely vanished. What gives?
 
Ordered a bag from Fiacchini via Farfetch.
There is a long scratch along the leather strap (threaded through the chain). Supposedly it makes it alright to send out the bag in this condition because allegedly all the bags have the same defect.
The only thing they can say is to return the bag but i have to forfeit the original shipping costs i paid
:mad: why should i lose out when they sent the item out knowing the defect!!
shipping was not cheap either :yucky:

so now the defect is deemed to be a "design feature" by Farfetch because more than one bag supposedly has this issue.

Just curious, did you at least get the refund?

I had a return refused by a boutique on Farfetch for not having a nonexistent tag, and after around 3 weeks I now have no item, no refund and not even a credit!! This whole experience is so frustrating, and Farfetch could not be less helpful in my opinion. Oh well, guess this was an expensive education about Farfetch....

Just now, they refunded the shipping cost "as a gesture of goodwill". I havent even returned the bag yet :what:
 
I must say that I was super worried after reading the comments here about Farfetch. It didn't help that I had already placed my order for my Moschino bag and then I came across the reviews. :rain: I placed my order on Saturday at midnight and did not hear from them till Tuesday afternoon if my order was through because my CC statement did not reflect the payment that I made.

Long story short, they shipped out my item from Bernardelli (Mantova, Italy) on Tuesday and I received my item today, Friday. I did not even pay for Express Shipping :tup: I must agree that some of the stores in Farfetch should put more effort in packaging their items. I received my item in the Moschino dustbag with all the care cards but there was no bubble wrap to make sure the bag does not move around in the Farfetch box. My bag looks new and all is good. :sweatdrop:
 
I should have read more reviews before placing my first order just before christmas :nogood: on monday my Giorgio Armani bag arrived from boutique Stefania Mode/Italy with SEVERAL SCRATCHES on both front/back side and on the strap and looked really used and not new at all. I was so shocked! I immediately sent some pics for proof to customer services and they said they would contact the boutique and get back to me. I haven't heard from them since! what should I do?? send it back immediately? this is so disappointing, I really really wanted this bag. I'd hate to return it....

Ouch! That doesn't look good at all! I would keep contacting the farfetch support. Usually you get the same person. I know it is annoying and long but it's the only way. Often farfetch customer service just doesn't care to hurry... So the customer AND the shop are suffering...
Maybe threaten them to contact the boutique yourself?
Hope it gets solved quick!!

I'm sorry to hear this happened to you, but my advice from personal experience is to be extremely persistent with Farfetch until they resolve your issue. I would even try calling Farfetch and using their online chat feature to get updates and ensure they don't ignore your issue.

I had a Farfetch issue recently that took about 4 weeks to get resolved (it was a returns issue as well), so be prepared to wait a long time for anything to actually happen. I do hope everything works out for you though, and just be persistent until they resolve this issue for you :smile1:

I finally got to chat to someone on their website, apparently the boutique's closed over the holidays until monday. they said that "usually in such cases" the boutique will offer a refund, exchange or a discount, which tbh sounded a bit worrisome to me. it makes you wonder what "usually" means, like do they always send faulty items? how many times has this happened already???

I just hope I'll get a reply soon enough and that they are willing to offer me a discount....

I don't trust FF customer service. They like to blame it all on the shops which is really bad!!

I just ordered something again, will report back when it arrives!
 
update: after a lot of back and forth they finally agreed to offer me an additional discount of 20% off the purchase price (which was already sales price 50% off the original price of 1350,- euros), which means that now I'm paying just 540 euros for the bag :amuse: not so bad after all!
 
My valentino nude RS will arrive today! Hurrey:p, I ordered those on the 20th of december, one day after my other order.

I ordered some Saint Laurent booties, dsquared jeans and a martin margiela sweater on the 19th and only the top will arrive today. I paid 66 euros for express shipping, 22euros for each item. I got an email from customer support asking if I was sure about the size 38 of my SL booties since the boutique they shipped from had messaged them they run large. I already know they run large since I have another five pairs of SL booties. By assuming the customer is ignorant re sizing the boutique has made sure they will not arrive on time. I feel they need to refund my express shipping for two of the three items, 44 euros, not a small amount.

I hope yours arrive quickly!

I hope you don't mind if I give my 2 cents here.
I quite regularly order from Biondini. They are the biggest shoe retailer in Paris and own most of the brands so they are totally legit and serious.. BUT they have absolutely no sense of branding i.e. packaging so only expect the shoe box thrown into the FarFetch box, no message, thank you note, nothing.
BUT you get your shoes!
