Anyone else feel somewhat embarrassed about LV?

Interesting discussion! To answer the OP's question, I would feel "embarrassed" to carry around a brand new LV (i.e., a new design/the latest release). But I am fine with using vintage or a discontinued design because then the bag is more unique/less common than something anyone can walk into the store and buy today. E.g., the last LV I bought was the Grace Coddington Speedy B 30 in 2018 - I used it a few times early on, but not since. Just waiting for the right time I feel like bringing it out again!

I am not sure if people will judge me with my lux bags, I only have 3 so far, lV black epi petit noe is my first ever lux bag, because I don't want people saw me wearing lux bags, I even took it office, nobody ever noticed. Then I got speedy B25 DE, so not dare to buy monogram, don't like others' judge. Since then, I got alma BB in mono, it's just so cute, but it's small, guess nobody would look at it.
I am not sure whether my thoughts are correct, seems stupid as these are only from my perspective, who knows what others think.

I am wondering if other's would think Damier Azur is loud? I have Noe BB Azur on my wishlist, I love it so much, hope to get it when its in stock.
(I answered the question about if I am embarrassed earlier in thread). My reply is about your DA question. It is not loud at all. Very elegant!

I know what you mean. I come from a poor background (as a child) and it’s hard to believe I can afford Louis Vuitton. I do feel a bit embarrassed, to be honest, which I think is why I’ve gravitated towards the Damier ebene print as it seems less flashy. However, I just bought my first mono so we’ll see how it goes once our lockdown is over and I take her out.
At the end of the day, though, we work for our bags and appreciate what we have. That’s all that matters - not what others think. Enjoy your bags - I do.

P.S. I’m starting to feel more pride than embarrassment as time goes

This. It's not like you're showing off luxury goods in the faces of impoverished people or wearing them to volunteer in a soup kitchen. I'm tired of those who demand we should feel guilty about having nice things. Some of those same people live in homes that cost millions. They're not about to give up their La Mer skin care programs or private yoga sessions either.

People who would judge you for having a designer/luxury bag are weird, but I get wanting to fit in with those around you. I live in a Southern resort city where there are LV’s, Chanels, Diors, YSL, Gucci’s, and every other luxury brand EVERYWHERE, and honestly nobody pays attention, and would never, ever approach you about the price of your bags. I say you should carry what you love and enjoy it.
For myself, I only carry luxury bags for lunch/shopping with friends, dinner and a play or concert with my husband, etc... For volunteer work and travel or when I need to carry more stuff (like a water bottle and lunch) I do not carry designer. I carry a simple Longchamp Le Pliage large nylon tote and fly under the radar. For casual outings like grabbing a burger or pizza and going to a movie (where buttery popcorn could land on my bag), or if it’s raining outside and I fear for my high end bags, I carry a small Michael Kors saffiano crossbody—seriously indestructible and going strong for years now! At Disney World (I love Disney!) I carry one of those small Disney themed backpacks that they sell in the shops there. On a cruise I bring a luxury evening bag, a straw bag/shoulder tote, and a couple Le Pliage nylon totes in different colors (they double as beach and shopping bags!). I just change up my bags to suit what I’m doing, I always feel like I fit in, and it works for me.
The only time anyone has ever mentioned a bag to me was when I was in the Midwest at a funeral luncheon carrying what I felt was a totally under-the-radar, ubiquitous Kate Spade small black clutch with a barely noticeable Kate Spade brand imprint. My cousin saw it on the table, asked who’s it was, and said ‘nice bag’. That was it, no judgment, she just liked my clutch. I think most people don’t notice or care what you’re carrying unless they are into bags too. I notice people who look especially well pulled together with their bag/outfit (doesn’t have to be designer) because I appreciate things like that and it gives me new outfit ideas, but am definitely not judging them.

I know this is a dumb question considering this is an LV thread, but what I mean is, do you ever feel embarrassed as if you've spent too much money on an LV bag and since it's such a popular luxury brand, people know what the handbag is worth and what you've paid. I have a job where I travel to different offices so I feel that when I use my different LV bags, people are judging me. I feel embarrassed. I know it's stupid, but it's just how I feel. But that also doesn't stop me from using my Louis Vuitton bags either.

What do you guys think?
