You shouldn't be! Carry your LVs with pride even though I got fired because of it. It's a long story but I will try to make it short. in February this year I got a job as an account manager in call center that caters IT companies here in Germany. Before I got this job I already loved designer bags, I have had all brands Celine to
Fendi (except Hermes and Chanel). Then in May I bought an LV Vernis Alma in Rouge fauviste for my birthday and the problem started. First of all my boss (the owner of a company, which is a woman) doesn't like me wearing high heels and doesn't like me looking sharp. She kept telling me to look professional which I believe I did. I wore proper heels and blazers to work. But she never said anything to my colleagues who don't take showers and always wear jeans and T-Shirts to work.
The first day I carried my Alma, she looked me up and down with the look 'how dare you!' on her face. The same day in the afternoon she called me to her office and told me that 'this is a work place and not a catwalk' that I should not dress with heels and expensive bags and skirts (WTF?). The passive-aggressive behavior of that lady (she's 50 and I'm 34) is getting out of control. I was not allowed to talk to other people at work unless to my group head when other people could talk to whom ever they want.
In November I bought Audaceuse and carried only once to work and the next day I exchanged it to Luminuese and carried it to work. Three days later I was fired due to 'incompetence at work'. That witch hated me so much that on my termination letter it claims I worked as an intern in her company which means I won't be able to claim unemployment money from the govt. But actually in my job contract it states that I am a full-time employer.
Based in Germany's law, unless you are doing illegal stuff, when you are fired for whatever reason you need to be told you are getting fired at least a month in advance which she didn't do. Based on these two mistakes that she did in term of firing me, I'm suing her and the company. I have my first appointment with her and her company, and the judge on the 9th of January. My boyfriend is one of the owners of the famous supermarket (Edeka) in Germany and he has to deal a lot with legal stuff and he was the one who pointed it all out to me. He will be there too. If we don't reach an agreement, we will get a lawyer and I will tell the judge all the discrimation treatment I got from that company because the boss dislike me.
What lesson do I get from this? No one can stop me carrying my LV if I want to!
