I can understand why you then sold it. I too do not think I could manage a clemence b35 either. Although they are so beautiful and slouchy.

Lol to bumping into people and things! As much as a love togo I definitely don’t think I have the strength to own one in it or clemence. Definitely save those leathers for the 30s and below. And I also agree that the 30 is perfection. But there is something about owning all 3 sizes that is appealing
Epsom is definitely lighter! However I’d get nervous with the corners getting scuffed since the 35 is so big. Isn’t epsom hard to spa? Did you have issues with yours and wear?
I have 4! Great bag for work!! I love it in Togo (3 of my 35s are in Togo leather). I also have 30s and 25. Do not love 25 size
I have not yet sent anything Epsom to the spa, but I do believe they can't do much with scuffed Epsom corners. I didn't have any issues (nor with my Kelly 28 in Epsom) and at the time, I was in a city where I was 100% walking or using the subway. The corners on both were fine. Honestly, my own kids and husband are usually the only ones knocking into my bigger bags.
The Epsom B35 even got soaked in the rain a few times and was completely fine.
I did find that B35 Epsom retourné does crease in weird ways though. I think the previous owner never used it and stored it laying down for years since it seemed take on a kind of curved shape of the tissue that comes in the box. I know a lot of people say storing Birkins laying down with the box and tissue is best, but I don't like it. Even with my Clemence 30- the back zipper pocket started showing through the leather when storing it laying down.
This thread got me looking at 35s again and I see the exact one (in terms of Epsom, color and PHW) on Fashionphile that I had years ago, but at twice the price.

I kept one 35 in barenia. I’m good! The weight never bothered me. I’m missing a 25 but not convinced that’s an issue.

I’m not craving the 35 because I never gave it up. Smallest B I own is a 30 but I prefer the proportions and look of the 35. I have 3 of them. Over the past years when the 25 was all the rage I just ducked that trend altogether and wore what suited me best!
i love them i sometimes carry just the same things i would in my kelly pochette or kelly 25cm but the are SO beautiful i wear them ! anyways......... i love the proportions the easiness and how real they are plus i love shawls so i carry one in there, i get the look everything i need Sans the weight ,So .............
B35 has the best proportion and it is classic size!
