Anyone done with big wallets?

I have a small card case with the most important every day cards AND I have a big wallet for the rest of my cards (membership cards, receipts, photos, etc.). If my bag allows it I carry them both, but if I chose a small bag I am already prepared for the switch with my card case :) Find this system really awesome and I get to use more wallets ;)

I never liked big wallets! I have used cardholders or bifolds with a small coin compartment...and atm I use q vintage Dior Coin purse. I am planning to get a Fossil Zip coin thingie which holds a few cards, coin and the house key. :)

I have always carried a zip around wallet and still do, but it is a Bottega Veneta zip around that is more slim line than the regular one. It feels good in the hand. Perfect wallet.

Did anyone here go back to their big wallets? I did as I got fed up with carrying two or three small items instead.
I never commented originally, but I have not used a big wallet for years. I tried to a few months ago when I received a nice one as a gift. I put all my things in it, put it in my purse, decided it was too bulky, and went right back to my old system without even leaving the house with it! I don't have two or three small items - I use a el cheapo coin purse I got at Target. It has a slip pocket on the outside where I keep my business card case that holds my ID and bank cards. In the zippered section I have my cash folded in half and any coins I accumulate. I also just slip my receipts into the slip pocket and just clean them out every few days. I like this because my cards are so easy for me to access; I keep the coin purse in the interior pocket of whatever bag I'm using and can easily slide my hand right into the pocket and pull out my card case without pulling out the whole coin purse. Works for me, anyway.

My little wallets all can accommodate cards and cash and stay pretty organized. I hate flipping through the whole wallet every time I need something. Now I find myself craving after a larger wallet, but every time I put my stuff in one, I always end up switching back to a small/mini wallet.

I use a big wallet which can hold my phone during the work week. When I go out for lunch, I put my phone in the wallet and I am set. I don't like lugging my handbag everywhere during the day. I use smaller wallets during weekends.

This is my new system too! My passport is my only valid ID, so I need a wallet that can double as a clutch and fit my passport, phone, cards, cash and a lip product in case of after work drinks. I bought the Hobo Lauren, and it's amazing! Previously I used my Alexander Wang Fumo wristlet, but it was a tiny bit too small and the zipper was really fiddly and annoying. The Lauren keeps my most used cards behind a magnetic closure (not close enough for it to demagnetize them), and everything else in two separate snap closure pockets. Only thing I miss from my AW is the wrist strap.

I also carry a card case with me at all times which usually only includes my bus pass and house keys, but it can easily fit my most important cards and some cash for when I use a small bag on the weekends. Right now I have a Tory Burch pouch with a key chain on it, but I'll probably get an LV cles in a couple weeks. The key chain on the TB is awkwardly big and clunky.

Gawd yes. I hate them and see zero reason to carry them. I love small wallets or card holders.

I don't need a checkbook holder - I have my debit card and a folded check in my small wallet. I don't carry a ton of bills. I only have 2 credit cards. So I don't have anything to put in a big wallet.

Plus I don't want to carry a big purse. So I don't want the wallet to take up much room.

I tried to use small wallet, it turned to be a joke... I carry 4 credit cards, driving license, Costco card, AAA card and car insurance docs( in a separate zip pocket) , gift cards and doctors visit cards plus cards-reminders about scheduled appointments, cash, change, reciepts, grocery stores and cvs little cards, and some coupons. How do I suppose to fit it in a tiny wallet???
One thing I found out-zip around wallets don't work for me. Can not pull credit cards in and out easily , too much work and card wears off very quickly.

It takes me 1 min to change over, most the time even less that! I don't carry the world in my wallet. I have 4-5 cards, some notes and coins and that's it. I sometimes see people's bulging wallets and often wondered what was in them! I don't keep receipts in my wallet at all.
