My story continue,
As I previously posted pictures you can see for yourself the defects on the bag.
I did use cloth and try to "remove" missing gold on hardware gently, nothing worked. If something missing, it is simply not there.
So, Piero Tucci received the bag, this is the response the sent me:
"As I suspected and as I told you on my previous email the "huge dark chippings" that you mentioned in your email
were just some polish that I could move away with a damp cloth.
There was also some residual glue on the hardware that I removed with the same cloth.
What is true is that our craftsmen did not remove accurately the polish.
What is not true is that the bag was used or defective.
Now I explain my point of view and I ask you what I should do:
We sent you a new bag.
The value of it was 414 (about $ 600), but, since it was on sale, we sold it at 230 (roughly 45% discount).
We asked you a contribution for shipping of 14.
You paid therefore a total of 244.
I accepted the return even if, as explained in our website, items on sale are not returnable.
I did it because I trust my customers and I want them to be happy with their purchases!
I hope you trust me if I tell you that to ship the bag to you and to collect the bag from you
Pierotucci spent 165 for shipping and custom duties (UPS is a good carrier, but it is VERY expensive!).
At this point we have both spent a lot of energy and a lot of money...
What would you do in my situation?
-----------------------------------------------
Apparently this company is asking for 165 euro for shipping charges...
Buyer, beware of this company!!!
