Yes, I'm talking about the store in Florence, actually it's a little out of Florence. They have a store that's joined to their factory where you can actually SEE them making the bags! There's an old man there who signs in Italian while he's working - loved it!

Spielberg1 - I did see the Campomaggi there too. Loved it because its soo different - but after buying 3 pieces I was all cashed out but totally happy with my stuff. Am going to try and post some photos soon, just a little collection!

Are you talking about the factory outlet near the Firenze Sud exit ? I've been there last year for some Christmas gift shopping. They sell all kinds of leather bags - including Campomaggi...but I would rather receive that as a gift :amuse:

Hey Spielberg1! Forgot to mention that if you buy on-line from Pierotucci, it's cheaper. Think it's because they take the tax off? Anyhow, it's cheaper which is important!! Hope this helps for your next Campomaggi!

I want a bag just like this...

I wonder why they decided to discontinue these. Very unfortunate that I find out about these several years after the fact. I cannot afford Hermes, but can anyone suggest where I might find something like this? Quality workmanship and supple leather...:cool:

natieya, If you are in the US, check out TJ Maxx stores (or Marshalls) - I have found them there a few times. If in GB, try TK Maxx (I think that's what they are called).

I don't think they've been discontinued...?
