Thank you both for the information! That would be fantastic if the increase stays at 4.5% or less. Just to be on the safe side I ordered four 90 cm I had been wanting. ;)

There is a huge inventory of 90 silks on US H.com. To me it seems to indicate that 90silks are not selling well. Wonder if that is true.

I think if you ask the Russians themselves, you will hear a far different story. No offense to the NYT, but I always found American news to be a bit "distorted".

I think H will not have any problem getting rid of any excess inventory.

I don't think the NYT is distorting the fact that the ruble has lost half it's value against the Dollar.
It would be hard to imagine spending levels not dropping with a currency devalued by half.

Yikes! That's a big increase! I had heard that they were NOT having a price increase, but I heard it on this thread, not from my SA (who is in the SF boutique, BTW... are you & I neighbors? Or were you in SF on business?)

Wow, this is so strange!
We now have conflicting reports from several boutiques.
I was told no increase on the CSGM and silk 90s increasing $15.00, to 450.00
My SA and I were joking about the small blessing of no increase on the CSGM, but now I wonder if they were confused...

I guess we will know in the morning.

I was told this a few days ago, same boutique as S'Mom. I was so excited today to read that there was no increase, because my boutique does not have the CW of the CSGM that I want in stock. Will be crossing my fingers until morning!

Also, how hard can it be for all of the SAs to have the same (correct) info?! :roflmfao:
