Any information on 2015 price increase?

Hmmmm, just reading back through the thread.
Someone posted that their SA confirmed $50.00 increase on silk 90cm, so a big increase percentage-wise.
I had hoped for a smaller increase. My SA did not know the amounts last week, only the dates.
Can anyone else confirm the % increase in the US?

I totally agree with everything you have said, but let's keep our fingers crossed that we won't see such a big price increase in the US.
+/- 10% would be a hefty increase. In theory, we should not see much of an increase on US prices at all,
but strong demand may give them leeway to justify such an increase. I'm still hoping for no more than 4%-5%.

My SA in Singapore told me that it is sometime in January. She asked me to buy before the price increase.

Just think how much a 90 cm silk will be 10 years from now. And can you image eventually paying $1000 per scarf?

Agreed that most things increase over time including bills, taxes, etc. For most people, if they are lucky, this also includes pay. However, this year the USA increases seem to be far larger than general inflation. I still feel 11.5% increase on a scarf seems a bit unreasonable. When was the last time anyone here got an 11.5% raise at work for the same job [not counting promotions that include extra tasks].

Of course we all love H or would not bother commenting on this issue. We will all probably still buy things from them as well. But when will the point come when enough is enough? No one, no matter how rich, likes feeling ripped off.

Prices of silks went up on Monday, 12 January :

Twilly is now S$270 (up S$10 or 3.85%)
Maxi Twilly is now S$540 (up S$40 or 8%). MT has gone up 20% since it first debut in 2013.

The rest remain unchanged. As it is prices here are much higher than Europe and the US - 90 is S$670 and 140 CSGM is S$1,800.

1 US$ = S$1.33

Prices have gone up tremendously over the years specifically the last 5 years with huge percentage of increases annually. I still remember the days when a 90 cost less than a Maxi Twilly today and it wasn't that long ago!

Found an old receipt for 2 90 silks from 2005 from FSH. It was 500 euros less 50 VAT refund so 450 euros for 2 scarves/225 euros each.

Ugh! Maybe it's less painful if we don't look at those old receipts. :cry:

No news on the %. Was told that they wouldn't know till they have to mark the changes in their system.

Anyone knows what the actual price of a 32 Togo Kelly in Europe is? Has the price been increased yet in Europe for K's and B's?
It was 6200 Euro, I wonder what the new price is after the price increase?
I know the price on Kelly Dog bracelets has increased...they are now 450 Euro (in Barenia and Epsom).
