It does, carlinha, it does....I totally didn't expect this Kelly price increase, I can almost get a Tapis Persans giant silk for that amount of money.

As I've stated previously, anything in the store is for sale. There is no such thing in my boutique as "just for display"

The Sac a dep. is 2000usd cheaper in france right now before VAT back !!!!
I do not know what H is going to do with the current state of currency they might have to have flex pricing that changes every day ???? this is what happens with gold so maybe H will have to do it to???

Hi everyone I just talked to a manager a H in USA and they told me currently the price increase has been put on hold, for an undetermined ammt of time!!!! I asked if they would be an price dec. and they said no

As far as daily fluctuations, gold has been a commodity and store of value for thousands of years. Fluctuations are an international standard. I am not sure H would be allowed to price their goods in the US with that kind of system. I could see all sorts of lawyers jumping on that in regards to commerce laws.
$3150 was prior to 2014 price increase for evelyne gm.. i was lucky to get mine at that price in 2013.
after price increase in early 2014, gm price is 3400..
my SA told me this wk the price increase will start on 24th.. not sure if it's true.. will check with her next wk as i need to go exchange some items..
I noticed that even with the current price, the Plume 32 is about $1500 more than France--enough to cover flight and hotel stay for a few nights. Wonder how H will price the bag on either or both sides of continent after the increase.

They hedge their currency exposure with options to reduce the risk of currency fluctuations, which allows them to keep retail prices stable.

carlinha, the K increase is price is quite depressing, would love a bleu atoll K GHW. Will ask my SA about the price increase when I see her next month and look at leather colors.
BTW, hermes_lemming, it was my SA that said that Ks are more infrequent than Bs in our store. Just repeating what I have been informed. Glad that you have so many Ks your local H. Your collection must be amazing!
