I don't understand about taking the accent off but it seems that Slimane feels he has to alter designer names to make them his...

I feel for him. I love Phoebe Philo but she leaves on a high, and he's got a difficult job despite his reputation. But I am not sure they have chosen the best name to keep the essence of the brand, which I think is something brands ultimately need. Also, Slimane, yes, great designer and everything, but when you have made the rounds of several designer houses... you start loosing a bit of shine... Ultimately, success at this level is either making it under your own name, or becoming one with a brand house, a la Karl Lagerfeld. With Heidi you feel like, okay, so where is he going next? Balenciaga? Balmain?...

Yeah she told me everyone buys their bags like crazy now! But that I shouldn‘t worry because their bags are still going to be around for some time

I was just at nordstrom in Vancouver on the weekend to pick up my celine belt bag and the SA told me that they have already started discontinuing some bags since the summer (i can't remember which ones he said exactly). He also spectulates that with the new CD, we might be seeing some metallic leathers and embellishments coming on their new bags... :confused1::doh::hrmm:

i guess we won't know until we know...:sad:

I was going to heard to Nordstrom also. Do you know what belt bags are left and how much they are?

Which one did you get? :D
