Any guesses or speculation for Hedi’s 1st collection?

Looks like Hedi took off the accent on the letter "e"

Edit:
from Celine's ig
"THE NEW LOGO HAS BEEN DIRECTLY INSPIRED BY THE ORIGINAL, HISTORICAL, VERSION THAT EXISTED IN THE 1960’S.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

THE MODERNIST TYPOGRAPHY USED DATES FROM THE 1930’S.

THE ACCENT ON THE “E” HAS BEEN REMOVED, TO REMAIN HOMOGENOUS WITH THE CELINE COLLECTIONS OF THE 1960’S.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
THE SPACING BETWEEN THE LETTERS HAS BEEN BALANCED OUT AND THE LETTERS HAVE BEEN BROUGHT CLOSER TOGETHER.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
THE 1960’S VERSION OF THE LOGO INCLUDING THE WORD “PARIS”, WILL BE REINSTATED WITHIN THE CLOTHING AND ON PACKAGING, HOWEVER “PARIS" WILL NOT APPEAR BENEATH THE LOGO ON CAMPAIGNS."

Not a fan of the look on that poster, or of the look of the campaign. The jacket/shirt/dress? in the photo looks like something out of the flashy Saint Laurent party style clothes, and the campaign seems underwhelming.

I'm still interested to see what else he will do!

I can't stand not to laugh right now, but great business decision on his part! This I think will likely increase Céline SEO rank, really clever move.

Ok, SEO part done, capsule collection a la Supreme (https://hypebeast.com/2018/6/hedi-slimane-celine-weekly-drops-store-expansion) will likely be done as well... Hm what's next?

I'm still sad with the deletion of older instagram posts though

If everything is gone on the website does that mean everything will be pulled out of the stores already? I was going to ask my friend to buy me a luggage nano in Paris this October but now I'm worried it'll all be gone.

Did she tell you if all Phoebe-bags will be taken away or just some of them?
What happens to the bags when they no longer sell them in the stores? Outlets?

Is everything that "happens" to Celine from now on Slimanes "fault"? Like, does he get to decide on his own what bags stay and what bags goes? And the change of the logo, is that all him too?

Omg I am having a panic attack right now. Do you happen to know if it's the same everywhere? In Europe? Where do you live? :hrmm:

I asked her about micro luggage and micro belt and she say they waiting for arrival soon, she is in France from Department Feminine.
My SA in Canada Toronto said the will still have arrival of new season, and she will keep me posted if there is any news!

What I understand some bags they keep, but most bags will be gone. You remember how it’s happened in YSL, I still do. I never bought anything after that. Same Celine I’m hoarding what I can get now, I love Celine Phoebe. But it’s just a personal preference.

I hit up the store in Munich, Germany today and asked the SA about discontinued bags. She said, productions have already been planned for another year and are not going to just be stopped from one day to another now. Their bags will all still be around for another year at least. That‘s what she told me

Common sense would dictate this but buyers are in panic mode. It wouldn’t make commercial sense to wipe out every style because you subsequently wipe out your entire client base.

Let’s face it the panic buying is great for SA’s and Céline alike - it’s a great marketing move from them.
