My SO's mother made this over the holidays and I fell in love and have made it twice since--so I thought I would share my new obsession w/ my foodies! Let me know if you try it..

32 oz shredded chicken
1/2 c. Frank's Red Hot sauce (more if you like it really spicy-I don't do spicy well and 1/2 c gives it just a good amount of flavor)
16 oz cream cheese softened (I use light or fat free to make it more healthy)
1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese
1/2 c. three cheese ranch dressing--or regular ranch--low fat or fat free--your choice.

Mix all ingredients in a large saucepan or crockpot and simmer on low heat until it has reached your desired texture...ENJOY..

Sounds liks Buffalo Chicken dip.
You can also use Blue cheese instead of ranch dressing.

I just bake mine in a 350 oven for 30 minutes in an aluminum throwaway.

i saw a similar recipe elsewhere some time back and saved it on my desktop--you've just reminded that i NEED to try this! it sounds so deliciously unhealthy

Yes you can..I find it in the freezer section of the grocery store.
Also, if you subsititute low fat or fat free cheese and cream cheese, the calorie content isn't too bad at all and it tastes just the same!
