  1. My SO's mother made this over the holidays and I fell in love and have made it twice since--so I thought I would share my new obsession w/ my foodies! Let me know if you try it..

    32 oz shredded chicken
1/2 c. Frank's Red Hot sauce (more if you like it really spicy-I don't do spicy well and 1/2 c gives it just a good amount of flavor)
16 oz cream cheese softened (I use light or fat free to make it more healthy)
    1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese
1/2 c. three cheese ranch dressing--or regular ranch--low fat or fat free--your choice.

Mix all ingredients in a large saucepan or crockpot and simmer on low heat until it has reached your desired texture...ENJOY..

  2. Ooh, that sounds really good! I am going to try that as soon as I'm off this diet, lol!

  3. Sounds liks Buffalo Chicken dip.
You can also use Blue cheese instead of ranch dressing.

I just bake mine in a 350 oven for 30 minutes in an aluminum throwaway.

  4. mmmmm, sounds good.

  5. This sounds delicious! I'm going to have to try that!

  6. My neighbor made this for his superbowl party last year and I have to say it was one of the best dips I've ever tasted. It was gone w/ in 40 minutes!!

  7. Both versions sound excellent! I'm going to have to try this!

  8. I've had this too and it was absolutely amazing!!

  9. i saw a similar recipe elsewhere some time back and saved it on my desktop--you've just reminded that i NEED to try this! it sounds so deliciously unhealthy

  10. I've had this before, it is so good. Although, the nutritional content is quite terrifying!

  11. Stupid question... can you buy already cooked and shredded chicken?

  12. Probably, but you could also get a rotisserie chicken already cooked. It's super easy to shred.

  13. Yes you can..I find it in the freezer section of the grocery store.
Also, if you subsititute low fat or fat free cheese and cream cheese, the calorie content isn't too bad at all and it tastes just the same!

  14. I've had something similar to this and it is just yummy! I could eat this with a spoon, who needs the chips or crackers?

  15. I made a dip similar as well. It was great but next time i will reduce the amount of hot sauce. Great for parties though.
