I know I wish they would leave her alone too, she really needs and deserves her privacy right now.

I also agree about the mother. I get a very normal vibe from her, she doesn't seem like a Cyrus, Lohan etc trying to live through her kids fame and fortune. And she probably is genuinely happy and relieved to have her daughter in treatment and back in their lives.

no, i meant.. if she was just smiling and going about thats understandable, i smile at strangers since its nicer then scowling, it seems in some pics, like where her dad is pushing the cart, as if she's stopping to pose. maybe I'm reading to much into it.

plus some pics look like the paps are inside costco, i remember reading somewhere that paps usually don't go "uninvited" into stores unless the celeb kinda okays it..

in any case, I'm rooting for her to get the help she needs and hope the paps can respect her right to a little distance and privacy as she's shifting back into normal life.

Amanda Bynes carries an umbrella while battling the rain at Costco on Saturday (December 7) in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

The 27-year-old actress was joined by her parents Rick and Lynn.

The day before, Amanda was cute and casual while heading to an office building.

In case you didn’t know, Amanda recently completed her stint in a treatment center and is planning on going to college for fashion design.

Pellegrino and Ensure. lol

Wouldn't put it past a stage mother to enjoy the attention. I'm suspicious of people who allow their kid to work so much when they are young.

I really hope it's not the case, but I agree about being suspicious of any parent that lets their kid work so much. I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt though.

Can you even get in if you don't have a membership? I know you use to be able to, but I think they changed it a few years ago. I remember seeing them checking cards at the door last time I was there.

You can totally be diagnosed with both - this is exactly what happened to Joshua Marks & what led to his suicide

http://www.cnn.com/2013/10/13/showbiz/masterchef-joshua-marks-suicide/

I also know someone personally who is bipolar, who they now suspect may be exhibiting signs of schizophrenia

Sorry for the long belated response I just saw your reply. You can not be given the specific diagnose of Schizophrenia and Bipolar disorder as two separate illnesses/diagnoses. There is an illness called Schizoaffective disorder which has two different types. One type being the depressive type and the second being bipolar type. If your friend was diagnosed as Bipolar and is now showing signs of Schizophrenia then they could very well be Schizoaffective. I hope they are doing better. I guess I can see why Radar would say Schizophrenia and Bipolar (if they even truly know her diagnose) because maybe its easier to get across to people since schizoaffective is not well known but Schizoaffective is the proper illness and that's what it should be referred to as.

Yes I heard about him. His story is really sad and I remember when I first saw a post about him I think it was on TMZ I immediately thought of Amanda. In the article it said a Dr thought he was suffering from Schizophrenia which lead me to believe that possibly the Bipolar diagnose was maybe wrong and he was diagnosed with Schizophrenia which made him go off the ledge since he just came to terms with the Bipolar diagnose. Many go through a few diagnoses before getting the right one. That's how I read it anyways.

Wonder what happened to Amanda's puppy... The one who caught on fire.

I was wondering that. Maybe her parents put the dog in a foster home type situation? I read that they did get the dog after Amanda set the fire and that the dog was ok. Its good to see Amanda back to being healthy but I do wish the paps would back off of her and just let her lead a normal life. Amanda never seemed like a Lohan type when it comes to the paps, you know always wanting attention.

Divinemiss, no you can't enter Costco w/o a membership. Those pix are probably taken at the exit where they check your receipt. I love Costco lol

you can actually, as the pharmacy is open to non-members. you just have to tell the guy at the door that you're going to the pharmacy and they don't bat an eyelash. I do it regularly.

(that said I doubt they would let a paparazzo in so casually, especially if equipment is visible, I'm sure my example didn't apply in this situation.)
