Amanda Bynes dreams of murdering her dad, slitting her mom's wrists and burning her house down, and she attacks a friend, telling him, "You're so gay it hurts my feelings" ... and it's all on tape.

The audio was recorded a week ago by one of Amanda's West Hollywood roommates as they drove. It's the first time we've been able to hear Amanda's ramblings when she goes off the rails.

The first audio is tirade against her parents, wishing them dead. The second audio is a rant that ends with a homophobic attack.

Members of Amanda's family tell TMZ ... they wanted us to post the audio ... which could be a wake-up call for medical professionals to intervene and get her help.

Bi-Polar is manic depression, manic depression was the old name for it.

You're thinking of Type I BiPolar and Type II. Type I is 'severe' mania and severe depression that cycle. Type II is less severe mania (but still not 'normal') and severe depression that cycle. Cyclothymia is mania with shorter, less severe depressive episodes than Type II - Type II 'lite', if you will.

And Amanda Bynes looks a shadow of her former glossy self as she picked up groceries at a convenience store on Thursday.

The disheveled 28-year-old emerged with tousled dyed green hair while carrying a brown bag full of items from a 7-11 in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The embattled star took to Twitter on Saturday evening after the recording surfaced on TMZ where she discussed dreams of murdering her dad, slitting her mother's wrist and burning down their house.

'By the way - I was obviously joking about hurting my family - I straight up don't believe in harming a soul,' she wrote on Twitter, several hours after the report was posted.

'I said what I said in jest & if you don't understand that then know I'm in therapy to talk about my dad issues and that will solve my concerns with ppl invading my private life,' she added.

According to the website, the delusional rants were recorded last week by one of the embattled star's roommates as they drove around Los Angeles.
The site also claims Amanda's family members wanted the tapes released as a 'wake-up call for medical professionals to intervene and get her help.'

Amanda Bynes Goes On Tweeting, Deleting Spree: Talks About Caleb Pusey, An ‘Ugly Phase,’ Phone Theft

Amanda Bynes is back on Twitter, and this time, she’s doing more deleting than tweeting. In between deletes, though, Bynes took time to talk about her sex life, once-purported fiance Caleb Pusey, and more.

When Bynes was reported weeks ago to be engaged to Pusey, he denied it to TMZ. Bynes herself denied it not long later, saying that Caleb wasn’t a good person and wasn’t even a friend — and that she couldn’t be dating him, since, she said, he’s gay.

Now, the one-time child star, who is well known for her Twitter rants and retractions, is taking some of that back — and deleting some of her take-backs.

First, Bynes tweeted that she had only insulted Caleb out of spite because he hurt her by saying they weren’t engaged. She also explained that she’s changed her number, and can’t contact Caleb since she lost her phone and his number.

She deleted those tweets a short time later, though — followed by all her tweets back as far as November 10. (Yes — including the ones where she explained away the tape TMZ procured of Amanda Bynes talking about killing her parents.)

She quickly replaced those, though, with a new series, reaffirming the same message: She takes back her statement that Caleb is gay, says she slept with him, and that she’s sorry she can’t contact him to apologize personally — though she adds a bit to the missing phone story.

Bynes is becoming notorious for wild statements and elaborate retractions, and this latest one is very much in keeping with the usual type. She’s posted and retracted stories about her father, who she says sexually abused her when she was a child, her living situation, producers she has worked with, and more — and now Caleb Pusey’s sexuality is added to the list of tales told and and retracted.

Amanda Bynes’ Parents Tracking Her Movements Through Uber Account

Amanda Bynes’ parents have found a new tool in their quest to help their troubled daughter — Uber! The released mental patient has been hard to keep track of in recent weeks, but RadarOnline.com has learned that her parents are now tracing her movements via GPS after setting her up with an account for the car service.

“Amanda’s mom, Lynn, set up the Uber car service on her daughter’s cell phone,” an insider told Radar. “Uber can take Amanda anywhere she needs to go and it’s paid for out of Amanda’s estate, since her mom has conservatorship.”

“This allows Amanda to have independence,” the source said. “But at the same time her parents can track where she goes.”

Bynes has been living at a hotel in Glendale, California, even though she is still under a conservatorship.

Meanwhile, the insider added, “Amanda’s parents are getting ready to move back to Texas. They had only come out to California after Amanda started exhibiting serious problems and they feel they’ve done all they can.”

In the photo, the troubled 28-year-old exposed her flat stomach and pierced belly wearing a colour block crop top ensemble while out shopping and included the note: 'I'm loving Boutique Jules!'

Amanda Bynes has her sights set on USC and the psychology department ... but this time not as a patient.

Amanda took a VIP tour of the campus Wednesday and we're told she told the folks with whom she interacted she wanted to enroll in the school as a psych major.

It makes sense ... Amanda has had more than her share of interactions with shrinks over the last two years. A staffer from the admissions department told TMZ ... the school does not hold mental illness against any applicant ... if they're qualified and able to engage in studies, that's all that matters.

As for her tour ... several students saw her on the golf cart tooling around campus with headphones, singing "Roar" by Katy Perry.

A USC staffer tells us the earliest she could be admitted is next Fall.

When someone is bi-polar does it sort of just "happen" one random day? Because that's what it seems like happened with her.

No, she would have always had it but it doesn't tend to show itself until late teens, early twenties or sometimes later. Same for schizophrenia, butbthat does tend to show itself earlier.

It's possible she has bipolar with schizophrenic elements. She will need meds for life and will relapse without them.

I couldn't imagine trying to take a class with her in it. I would imagine that she would constantly be interrupting it or something
