In all seriousness, people like this do exist. There's that show on the WE channel...Platinum Weddings. They play it off like its these classy weddings that happen to be expensive, when in reality, it seems more like people bragging about what they spent on everything.

Quite frankly, anyone who comes from real money, and more often than not, old money, would never say such things. Obviously, on this board, we all like nice things, and we all know the prices of those things. But to go around naming items and the prices, to me, is simply the most un-classy thing ever!

I cant be bothered trying to decipher your lame excuses:hrmm: I am too tired:sweatdrop: with the shopping I`ve done today and I wont even name brands cos most people dont know them KWIM...

no biggie, around 4569.35 dollars on shoes, 31285.59 dollars on clothes, some platinum and diamond trinkets for 62986.34 dollars and cristal door handles to our 12 bathrooms for 2754 dollars each.
But who would count really....:supacool:

I'm sorry, but what do you want from us or anyone? A gold star? Or have you bought one already, and how much was it?

I'm not the richest person on the block, but after almost losing my mother and my husband to cancer and kidney disease, I KNOW what's important in life.

And it doesn't include asking strangers of the opposite sex on a message board if I'm too WHATEVER.

As pp's have noted, you need to address any hidden issues. If you're wealthy enough to afford these things, hat's off to you and your wife. If you can't, that's another issue.

In either case, IMHO, why do you have to ask?

we have two, one for tearing the paper off and one for handing over. While the second one hands over, the first one sprays Imperial Majesty around, that we use as air freshener - a mere 215k per bottle . We have a flusher, too.

we have the EXACT same set up in our Master Bathroom only we have a THIRD valet but I won't go into detail what his job is...

I think that if you are pondering the thought of possibly being too materialistic then you probably are. I hope you have health, family, friends and those things that are truly important, but possibly if you are lacking in one of those categories you might be trying to fill that void with "things". I'm sure you will realize that those things will not really make you happy. And if you have the kind of money you are saying that you have then most definitely you should do something for the needy.
