Do you think it makes me look fat?

LOLz.....:roflmfao:

You sound very materialistic.
It's not the worst thing if it makes you happy.
I used to fairly materialistic before I meet my partner & had my daughter, only with clothes, shoes & bags.
If i saw something I liked I'd impusle buy, i used to spend loads on fashion & then feel quilty.
My partner has got the best attitude towards money - if ever i'm in a shop & i'm about to impusle buy he says "it's a pair of shoes - there just temporary", it sounds really simple but it really works on me. I hardly ever impusle buy anymore I just think I could do more with my money, I opened an ISA the other week, It feels really good looking at my savings, planning holidays for my family & experinces that will last longer than this seasons most fashionable coat. Oh & just to redeam my partner as i made him sound a scorge - if i mention somethin I've seen a few times he know's I really like it & buys it me anyway!!!

I think if you and your wife are happy (and with that lot I dare you NOT to be! Ha!) and you are not hurting anybody else to get your possessions and you can afford it and are not in serious debt because of it then why not!?

By the way - if you feel that you are spoiling your wife too much I wouldn't mind helping you out by letting you buy me some things instead for a while, just so she's not completely spoilt you understand!!!

I dont think we are that , you know, materialistic, at least we dont care about spending money and you like WAITED ON A SALE to buy a plane ..thats like disgusting and so tacky, you know :yucky:

oh yeah? well that plane was only used ONCE by Michael Jackson when he got the hell out of Dodge and ran away to England. I think the ash trays were full or something so they had to sell it. You on the other hand prefer to flaunt your seemingly endless supply o' cheddah on useless tacky Eurotrash cars but to each his own...

Honestly, its not about the "money", its about your integrity and your heart...

If you can afford things, thats fine but like others have said...if this is to validate yourself or your wife regarding "money, status, etc" then, yes......you are too materialitic.

Its always best to help others and life is short.....give to others and give to yourself...but most important, whats inside you should never be about "things", it should be your soul and your intentions....that is the only thing that lives on.....everything else is fading and meaningless really....

Things are to be played with, at least thats how I see it....for enjoyment not fulfillment.
