This thread has threw me off track. So there are two people with illusions of grandeur on this thread? :confused1: Or is this post sarcasm? I would think they'd be too busy to waste their time on the internet and would be shopping and living the high life. Also the original poster never did reply back so that's no fun...

All the posts of mine in this thread apart from the one quoted above are sarcastic. I presumed it was obvious enough.

And no the OP hasnt come back here, but posts around with the same attitude...and I believe its fun who for those who share a bit of laugh in this thread with us.

okay, here goes my 2 cents.

the OP wants to know if we think he is too materialistic, emphasis on the word "too" which leads me to believe he believes he already "is" materialistic but just wants to know if he is "too" materialistic. In a nutshell, if you gotta ask, the answer is most likely a resounding yes. We all are materialistic to a point in here or we wouldn't be spending tons of cash on handbags or anything else that strikes our fancy for that matter. I think the responses here have reflected a general sense of tastelessness involved in the OP referring to his SO as his "current" wife, implying she may be temporary so thats a big turn off right from the get go. I think that may have something to do with the sarcasm in many posts here. Personally, I don't understand the inspiration to post a "price list" of all they have spent on their belongings....its a little troublesome and comes off as bragging. Why share this private financial info with a bunch of strangers unless you are looking for some sort of validation? Its just wierd. To me at least. If the OP has the financial savvy to aquire such luxuries you would think they would know that broadcasting it anywhere would not be such a wise thing to do for security reasons if nothing else. I guess I just don't understand the purpose of the original question? Is the OP too materialistic? If your possessions own you then yes. No matter what we think though, will that affect the OP decision making in the future? Probably not. And it doesn't matter. What the OP does with his money is his business. I guess it should have been kept that way. Personal.
Am I off track here?

oo ok Sorry I didn't read the whole thread before hand but afterwards I saw it was sarcasm. Too bad he probably isn't heeding the advice posted. He posted to brag and then flat out ditched the post.
