Yes even in my iseeu I rarely close it because I don't want wrinkles

I kinda agree. I much prefer their ISeeU variation, mostly for two reasons. 1. Structure. 2. Visual appeal. To me, it doesn't have quite as much "pull" in the leather below the clasps. I'm not someone who wants her bags to look super "worn in" like many others may, so I'd want to combat that "stretching" of the leather as much as possible. I think a helpful way that may at least somewhat stave this off is to store these bags open/unclasped and with structure support, such as inserts, inside.

That said though, I really really enjoy the classic Peekaboo shape in the harder-wearing exotics, like croc.

I’m considering my first Fendi purchase, a peekaboo in pequin fabric. I’m hesitating over the fabric material but love the pequin striped print. How well does Fendi pequin fabric hold up and does it stretch out easily? Not sure if i should splurge on a peekaboo with a part-fabric make.

Hm. Mine does not do this.
(Anymore?)
I have an old one (Monster) and if it was like you said (and I did not realize) there is no bad outcome like weird wrinkles now that I can close the bag without any stretch.
