Hi libertygirl,

My thoughts on the 2jours are completely positive. I have the 2jours medium in burgundy and absolutely love it. It's not a soft bag at all, but it isn't super rigid either. I think it's the perfect combination and it doesn't lose its shape. Plus, the color is so so gorgeous and I think it does go well with pretty much anything. It's not a super bright red, but instead it's a rich and deep color.
I love the 2jours so much that yesterday I got the 2jours petit in black and I already wore it and received plenty of compliments.
I guess not everyone loves the same bags, so if you're not completely convinced, you should consider getting another bag that makes you happy :)

Omg, you look stunning, this 2jours is made for you just like Birking for Jane

Did you decide whether you keep it or not? I'm looking to buy this bag as well, I think the color is so gorgeous. But I've noticed on different sites that the top enamel part comes in different shades of red. Like the one Olivia Palermo has is a bright red top, and then I've also seen one on farfetch that has a matching shade of red to the bag, darker more burgundy.
Which one do you have, could you post a pic and what do you prefer?
Would really appreciate it! I think I would like the bright red better but not sure.

Ahh I'm so sorry, I already returned the bag! I *think* mine had the bright red enamel but I can't say I paid too much attention to that part of the bag. Gorgeous colour but it just wasn't for me in the end :smile1:

I just ordered it, I saw it for a good price and had to make up my mind, now impatiently waiting for it. Let's see how I feel about it when I can try it on my arm.

Hi everyone,

I just purchased my first fendi 2 jours medium in black from reebonz and it was love at first sight

However what has gotten me really worried is when i was looking at the hologram tag, i heard a velcro sound which i thought was strange. When i touched the inside pockets and lining i kept hearing the same sound... My biggest fear is that somehow the lining is being pulled away from whatever it is attached to?

Thoughts on this will be very appreciated :D

This exact same thing happened to me. Don't worry, you're not crazy and the bag is OK. The lining is actually held into the bag with strips of Velcro that you can't see. If the lining needs to be cleaned it can be gently pulled out to be turned inside out. I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you need to, though because it's a pain to get it looking as smooth as it does when it arrives. :)

May I ask where you bought your bag from? I called up a department store that sells fendi and the SA informed me that they are machine stitched and there shouldn't be any velcro inside the lining... I am super confused now!

Can any other fellow Fendi 2jour owners please double check for me if their lining is held by strips on velcro you can't see please!!!

Well, that bag was secondhand but I had it authenticated by authenticate4u and here on the authenticate this thread. I also bought a Fendi By the Way from Sak's and that has Velcro between the lining and leather, too.

I also called Fendi when I first discovered this and the SA had no idea what I was talking about but then she also wasn't aware of the seasonal colors from 2 seasons ago so I didn't give her much credit. I just think it isn't the sort of thing you notice unless it's detached for some reason or you're looking for it.

The interior IS machine stitched. It's not the stitching of the bag it's on the side of the lining facing the leather exterior so you can't see it. In the case of the first bag the lining was suede so it was easier to feel the strips of Velcro but they're there.

I did the same thing you're doing now and asked for opinions in this thread about it and someone else with (nearly) the same model verified hers was the same. You can go back in the thread to see the discussion.
