Hi ladies!!
Today, I bought my first 2jours petit in black! love love it. I had my eye on it for a while and today I took the plunge. However, I have a question for you all that I hope can give me some confirmation. I bought my 2jours petit at the Fendi boutique at Saks, Mexico City. So, there is no doubt that this bag is indeed authentic.
When I got home, I compared the interior to that of my 2jours (regular size) and noticed that my 2jours petit did not come with a Fendi hologram in its interior. I called the SA and she told me that the latest Fendi bags are not being made with a hologram. They do, however, have the RFID tag and a narrow leather tag with numbers on it.
Can someone please confirm/deny this hologram mystery? Has anyone bought a Fendi 2jours/2jours petit recently and can see if it doesn't have the hologram?

So I received my Fendi 2Jours in medium and... I'm not 100% sold on it. It's a beautiful bag but I'm surprised by how smoosh-y and soft the sides were. I was expecting more structure if I'm honest.

I'm also not sure I picked the right colour - I went for the burgundy (same as Olivia Palermo) but it doesn't seem to go with much in my closet! I'm considering returning it and buying instead:

1. The medium 2jours in pale pink - a more neutral colour, better suited to my wardrobe I think

3. A Fendi 2jour Elite - more practical for everyday?

if your heart didn't sing for the bag.. you should return it!!
i do love the soft sides of the bag!!!! i think the bag is being structured with soft sides while not too much structured.. (don't know how to say).. the front and the back can hold up the structure!!
i love my red petite 2jours.. perfect size for me and I don't use oversized bag..I'm 5'4. I think the bag is really well-made..[emoji8][emoji8][emoji8]
you should try both size at stores to see which size you would like to go for.. afterwards.. you can pick a nice color to match your wardrobe! [emoji162][emoji156]

Today I received an email from my fendi SA. She contacted the production department in Italy about the hologram and they replied. The reply is attached. As you can see, the hologram is no longer present in Fendi bags since April 2014, apparently. I think this is important to know because it changes the authentication process for people who buy Fendi from a reseller instead of from a boutique. I wasn't worried about my bag not being authentic given that I bought it at an actual Fendi boutique, but I still like knowing about these changes. I hope this update helps people who have the same question we did. cheers!

My thoughts on the 2jours are completely positive. I have the 2jours medium in burgundy and absolutely love it. It's not a soft bag at all, but it isn't super rigid either. I think it's the perfect combination and it doesn't lose its shape. Plus, the color is so so gorgeous and I think it does go well with pretty much anything. It's not a super bright red, but instead it's a rich and deep color.
I love the 2jours so much that yesterday I got the 2jours petit in black and I already wore it and received plenty of compliments.
I guess not everyone loves the same bags, so if you're not completely convinced, you should consider getting another bag that makes you happy

Marguidelc, thank you soooooo much for sharing this information with me/us!!! I really appreciate your help. Yes, I, too always want to know the changes. I bought mine from a reputable store, but became worried about someone pulling a switch with a counterfeit and returning it since it doesn't have the hologram or other details that were in the same bag previously. I am relieved to know that they changed them recently. Thanks again!!!

Completely agree about the quality... it is beautiful, I'm just not sure if I went for the right option! Great to know that you like the size. I'm a little taller... 5'7 but I have the Chanel mini and I don't *think* (read: hope!) it looks too disproportionate on me!

I haven't tried the mini on yet so I'm going to try and make it to the store today to do just that! Thanks so much for your input!

The 2jours looks TOTALLY fabulous on you! I'm going to try it on again when I get home tonight and decide then... I think if I do return it, the current front runner is the black mini 2jours

How are you finding the size of the mini? Can you fit much in it?

Thank you! I shopped and shopped and shopped and when I saw the pale pink petite 2jours that was IT! I get so many compliments on this bag and it is really sturdy. I love the combination of the saffiano leather and the calf skin leather. I have been carrying it for a few weeks now and have zero complaints about it.

I got the black mini with the bird charm and I love it. It fits quite a bit for the size (wallet, make up case, sunglasses, iPad mini etc. I find since it's light to start with that even when full it's not very heavy. I also got the both the charm and the regular tag included which was a nice bonus.

I got the black mini with the bird charm and I love it. I have the mini and I love it! I get compliments in it all the time. I didn't like the smooshy sides either when I first got it. I bought it online so saw it in person for the first time when I got it. But it actually makes the bag lighter and adds more character than if it was all saffiano type leather. The mini fits a ton including iPad mini and sunnies. I like that fendi is more under the radar than chanel.
