I asked a Fendi SA at Saks today, and she said the 2Jours line is not being discontinued. The current and future bags will be made entirely of calf leather, i.e., no more vitello fronts and backs.

Going to miss the old ones too! I don't know, the all calf version looks almost...naked? ...Sigh, part of the reason I love my 2jours is b/c the vitello makes it so functional!

Personally I love the contrast of the highly structured saffiano panels and top bar hardware against the super soft leather on the side panels. The all calf leather, without even the seams to structure it, has turned the quirky, edgy, beautifully designed bag that the 2Jours saffiano is into just another tote. Dare I say it......boring!

That´s absolutely what I am feeling too, Wudge!

I´m really happy with the contrasting saffiano parts and the softer parts on the side on my two 2jours totes, it´s just what makes the 2jours so stunning...

It´s what made me buy them because I fell in love with it...
I´m really unhappy now, sigh...

I would recommend to get one of the classic saffiano leather ones, girls, if you were thinking about a 2jours, before it´s too late :rain:

Mine is patent calf leather,and I just love her. It's very sturdy and doesn't lose her shape, I don't have to baby her at all.

I agree with you 100% ! IMO the calf version looks too clean.. It's strange looking! I ADORE my 2Jours with the saffiano & vitello leather contrast I feel like it gives it a character that none of my other bags have!
