Nope, we are definitely not talking about the same thing, my bad! I read the post which you replied to instead, and it was about the new full calf version 😄
No dear the sides of the 2jours do not expand, but the medium ones fit a lot of things as they are.

I have the "2Jours Vitello Elitel Shopping Bag, Black" (that's how Neiman's calls it ) and it's quite roomy ! (14wx6d12h) Like Lena186 said, the sides of the 2Jours don't expand like the 3Jours, but it still has space for quite a lot of things. I'm ecstatic about my 2Jours; I think it's the perfect size! The only downside for me, and I don't know if this happens to anyone else, is that the strap isn't long enough to wear as a crossbody. Other than that, the bag is perfect.

Do any of you have a problem with your 2jours standing up straight? My mini arrived today and I am so disappointed. It is gorgeous, but it falls over when I sit it on a table.

I am going to send it back and get a replacement, but its left me wondering if this is something that happens with the 2jours? Thanks so much!

Oh no! :( No hasn't happened with mine, or any of the ones I've been seeing in stores either, the only potential problem I've been seeing is some slouching/pooching of the front vitello panel...is yours a special material? I did see a denim one that seemed more floppy...

oh and @melissadelag12, yea I can't wear it as crossbody either, would be nice if there was an adjustable or longer strap, but then I'd probably whack people around me during rush hour :P

Thanks cwxx! No, this is the regular 2jours with the vitello front panel.

It looks like it was flattened at some point!
Sorry for the bad lighting in the pics.
I messed with the base a bit to get it to stand up, but you can still see that the bottom is warped and the bag leans to the back. From the front, you can see how one handle folds under the other.

Of course, I called Barney's and they are sold out of this bag as well as ALL mini 2jours so I won't be able to exchange it like I hoped.

Oh my gosh! I completely see what you mean - that isn't right at all, it definitely looks like someone squished it, especially the view from the side of the base...It sucks barneys doesn't have another in stock grrrr :pullhair:

Maybe putting some heavier things (books?) in the bag for a day or two could help flatten out the base and push the front more forward?

Also, I could be completely wrong with the color, but Farfetch has this 2jours in stock for 1472- http://www.farfetch.com/shopping/wo...item-10730837.aspx?storeid=9336&ffref=lp_108_

And this lighter blue one too http://www.farfetch.com/shopping/wo...item-10734770.aspx?storeid=9336&ffref=lp_109_
(natalia0128 I think this one is in your color?)

should be coupons for free international shipping floating around here too...ahhh I'm so annoyed for you, esp since I know how good the 2jours can be... hope all this works out in the end :smile1:

Yes, that color
How come the medium and totes are the same price. I thought medium suppose expensive more hundred bucks.

Hi, I bought a black 2jours large in december from Bergdorf online. I am going to New York at the end of this month, and wondering if its possible to get my tag heat-stamped with my initials? Do I have to go to bergdorfs or can i do it at the fendi boutique in NYC? Thanks!
This is a little belated but i think you can take your tag to the fendi store and they'll do it for you, no questions asked!

Oh no! I bought my 2jours from Saks because of availability issues too. They were originally only going to give me the bag in a Fendi dustbag and shopping bag, but I asked about a box and was given one (I felt the same way about having paid that much money and getting an underwhelming presentation)! Definitely not the Nordstrom experience, but glad I asked. You should bring your receipt to a Saks Fendi boutique and ask for proper packaging!
Same! I bought mine at Saks and I got the Fendi dust bag but no box! I was told that Fendi will monogram for free if you bring the tag in

Now that the 2Jours thread has been active for a couple years, can the long-time owners comment on their bag's quality? How has your bag held up, and for those with the shoulder strap, how does it feel when the bag is full? I'm on the hunt for a daily commuter bag that can carry my wallet, sunnies, lipstick, magazine, keys, smartphone and a small snack. Am I barking up the wrong tree with the 2Jours? Thank you in advance for any insight.

I wouldn't say I'm a long time owner compared to some other girls here but I think the quality is phenomenal. It was my first investment bag and I have no regrets picking this over say a LV or a Bal City. I'm 5'3" and sometimes it feels a little big when I'm looking down on it but it really is the most perfect big girl work bag because it holds just the right amount and the shoulder strap is the absolute perfect length. On a normal day, I have my wallet, sunglasses, makeup bag, keys, smartphone, kindle, and sometimes even my lunch and a scarf for when I get cold. I commute with my bag during the NYC rush hour and I sometimes panic when people squish up on me and my bag BUT it's reassuring to know that the bag will hold up, despite it all. In fact, it got caught in the train door the other day (i watched in absolute horror as the train doors closed on it) and still, not a scratch.
