This CW was not my first choice, I was hesitating between 05 and 07, but this one 01 is absolutely fantastic. This is my first piece with a natural animal print, I guess I was a bit afraid by this style. Now I just love it. One of the few object I had from my mom was a sleeveless top in a leopard print, so 80's!
Ladybaga, I have # 12, marine/vert/rose. If I remember, passionforeleg. has the soft cw with the pink owl.I love my Into the Canadian Wild (greens and fuchsia, but I really also wanted the one with the pink owl and red sky.) There were so many pretty colors, suitable for spring and summer, in that one. Lagoon, turquoise, orange..... There was one on H.com when these first appeared, but I waited......and lost! My store never ordered this colorway, and I never had them do a search for it. I'm not even sure what the colorway number was; it just looked so pretty online. (I could research it on the Fall 2017 thread, but sometimes, I feel that maybe it wasn't meant to be. I do "stalk" hermes.com just in case it comes back around. H is funny about that....just when you think all of the past season scarves are gone, H.com puts it back up for sale.
Came back to say that I just researched it...CW 07 for Into the Canadian Wild. (p. 35 on 2017 Fall Scarves) PINK owl against an orange red sky. So pretty! Not sure if anyone bought this, but would love to see it. Perhaps our lovely Croisette has this? It would look amazing on her.
Thank you so much! I tried on passion’s cw and it was too pastel for my skin tone. She, of course, looks beautiful in this. Her blog is spectacular with additional info about the scarf. The one I wish to find has a vibrant reddish/orange sky with a salmon colored owl. I’m sure that I’m not explaining the colors but it seemed so striking. Hope you are doing well. Last weekend I waited at the front of the store for my DH when a man walked in looking for a scarf for his wife. The SA showed a few and then pulled out this Canada scarf.
“No, I don’t think so,” her customer said, as he pushed the scarf aside. I caught the SAs eye. She wasn’t my SA.
“May I take a look at that?” I asked, crooking my finger at the scarf. She handed it to me and returned to her customer.
I bolted to a mirror and then to find my SA. Got it!!
