Pebble with antique brass for me. Don't know really if there are any pros or cons, I just prefer the look. Although the antique brass may not show wear as soon as the pale gold, does anyone have any experience with that?

I have a smoother leather Rocco, and I'm honestly not a huge fan of it on this silhouette compared to the bubbly leather, so that lets the pale gold out for me on that basis. I do like the pale gold HW, though. Both are equally nice, so it's really personal preference. I haven't had problems with either HW version, but I rarely carry any of mine due to rotating so much.

The black pebbled Rocco with antique brass hardware is a classic. As your first AW, I would recommend that one.

I'm curious...what is it that YOU like about each bag? Do you like the pebbled leather on the one but the lighter hardware on the other? In that case I would suggest getting rid of both and purchasing one with the combination that is most appealing to you. Also, it looks like the shape of the studs are different on each...cupcake vs bullet. Does that make a difference to you?

Is there a reason that you can't keep both? At one point I owned about 5 black Roccos...all with different hardware. I am now down to just 3...but feel that they are all so different.

I like the soft leather better but the pale gold studs make the bag heavier. On the other hand for some reason the antique brass feels lighter but not a fan of the pebbled leather. Also the pale gold hw bag had the smoother zipper pull. The pebbled leather feels thicker than the smooth making me think that it's sturdier and more resistant to wear. There's just pros and cons to each of them. That's why it's so hard to decide.

I can't keep both because I have to give one to a friend.
