Thank you! It's my first time to venture into AW territory...I must say the leather was a surprise, it is so soft but thiickkk! I got used to the Balenciaga leathers so the Rocco leather was a surprise...kept trying to pinch it and see how thick it was. I hope it breaks in nicely...and the SHopbop giftbox it came in is very nice too;)

P.s. is that rose gold HW I see on your avatar? Is it perhaps lighter in weight than the brass?

Yes it is the latte with rosegold, I feel it is much lighter in weight. But my black with brass is the older style without the straps, I know there are different types of studs now and some people have commented that the newer ones are lighter. But im not sure if the old cupcake and the newer cupcake (bag with strap) is still the same.

question, i was just wondering if anyone was able to get a price adjustment with shop bop on the alexander wang rocco bag in espresso? forwardforward.com had the bag on sale for $482 (http://www.forwardforward.com/fwd/DisplayProduct.jsp?product=AWAN-WY93)! i wanted to purchase it from shop bop to save on shipping cost so i held off until their customer service department was open. but i had no luck. just wondering if anyone had success? the bag is now sold out on forwardforward.com :crybaby: should have purchased it while i was able to.

I got mine from shopbop...the black one not the espresso...it was $895 i think .

Not that particular one but Ive had shopbop match forwardforward on a black rocco a while ago. They matched the price even though forwardforward was selling the older style without the long strap on sale (plus it had sold out) and shopbop had the newer one, they matched that with no problems. Its very tempting to try and get them to match that but I really shouldnt be buying any thing right now.

I ended up emailing them to see if they'd do it and they have agreed to match that price. They said there has been notes put on my account but I need to call to place the order.
So tempting ...

I have not called to purchase yet, I am concerned with all the complaints I've read. Had no problems with the 2 I have but I am not sure I want to risk it. Might save for a chocolate brown bayswater instead I think.

As for the espresso...can't see much of it but there was another thread showing how lovely the color is in real life...maybe its just in your pic that it looks so close to black? :)

I had originally ordered an espresso Lia from Shopbop. The leather was so dry that the bag looked dark gray...not a hint of brown. The Rocco's leather is much nicer. But, I definitely don't need 4. The black and espresso are the most similiar...and there is no doubt that the black is a keeper.

I would say that spice was the nicest surprise. I really wasn't expecting it to be such a pretty red. My favorite is still the black but spice is a close second.
