well I know this sounds silly but I'm not sure lol. In certain light the edges look like a lighter black than the rest of the bag... like the leather is rubbing down and fading.. but in other lights it's not really noticeably. So I don't know if it's just me freaking out lol.

how long have you had the bag? do you use it often? i think that's normal for most black bags though, the edges. i thought the major concern w/ these bags was piping coming undone, which i've yet to see happen to any of my bags

I've had the bag for less than a month and I've only used it a few times. I guess the roccos are just prone to that. I'll probably be putting it away for awhile and just be super careful when using it. I've heard of the piping too! Hope that never happens to my bag!

Hi DS -- I can't say for sure, but I believe Spice (the color name on my bag) is very similar to last fall's Brick. It's a nice, dark red with slightly blue undertones. I know Barney's in Seattle had another one so it's worth a call if you're looking to replace yours! Best of luck!! ;)

Dear tPFers, i realized that the 'newer' rocco comes with extra 2 handphone pouch + internal zip in the interior of the bag. And the old ones only comes with the internal zip pocket.. Is this true?

My friend has an older rocco, purchased in early 2010- and it does not have the extra 2 pockets in the inside of the bag. Now she's freaking out.

Kindly reconfirm this fact, ladies!

I'm considering buying black Rocco with GHW but worried about the whole stud thing going out of style in a year. I would like to be able to wear it for years to come and not spend on a ton of money (they cost around $1000 in my country) and use it for a few months... What do you think?

Hi thanks for replying. I have found a really beautiful one in New York. The SA i spoke to was very friendly and she sent me afew photos of the bag before i purchase as i live in the UK and would have to have it posted. Its going to cost alot but its so worth it. I love it. I'm a bit weird when it comes to the pebbling/bubbliness of the leather. The more pebbly the bag is the better for me. I dont really like the smooth Roccos so much. The pebbling on yours looks so perfect.

Hi ladies...do you know if it is general consensus that shopbop.com has good quality and authentic roccos? I'm due to get mine from the site anytime soon and I've only just started backreading through this thread...and I was horrified with the number of complaints regarding quality from other online sellers although I could not see any shopbop issues...mostly blufly...
please please be still my fearful heart....:wondering
