The studs are brass with a gold tone, but not what I'd consider gold like Bal GGH. The studs are truly brassy...they almost look kind of vintagey. They're definitely not a bright shiny gold like GGH.

Do you mean the Rocco Mini (full size, 5 rows of studs, w/ shoulder strap) and the Rocco Baby (smaller size-4 rows of studs, w/o long strap)?
If you like a roomier bag I think the Mini would be more your speed.
The Mini also has a handy pair of pockets at the end of the bag which is perfect for phones and chapsticks!
Oh that's right.... Just checked the modeling pictures again. The Mini should be one suits my needs better. Thank you for the reminder.

Is this the only difference between the mini and baby? I'm new to AW and was always wondering.
I'm pretty sure that's it! Of course there should be a slight weight difference between the bags since the Baby has one less row of studs. If anyone else knows of any more differences I'm sure they'll chime in.
This is a silly question and I know I'm a little out of the loop with this but are the Rocco and Coco the same bag? Like did the Coco get renamed? I can't imagine they would just stop making the Coco when it was so popular when it came out and the Rocco looks exactly like it...? If it is the same bag, why did the name get changed?
It's the same bag. The SA at Barney's told me the name was changed because of copy right issues with Chanel. Not sure if this is the real story behind the change, but that's the one I got upon inquiring.
^ Ahhh thanks! It's funny I was thinking Chanel too because of the black and gold. I got my Brenda the month the Coco/Rocco came out but I'm still planning to get one so I don't want to be searching for the bag under a name that doesn't exist anymore lol
I can get the original over my shoulder, and see lots of girls carrying it that way, but guess it depends on your build.
The bag is heavy and the earlier versions did not have straps, strictly hand held and it is heavy
