Amanda, I haven't found her yet:pout:, I have never seen the velvet leather in luggage, do you know where I could see a picture of it? I have never seen the bag in my picture on ANY websight for sale, I was beginning to wonder if they ever came out with it. Maybe it is the velvet leather in luggage:graucho: if it is then you have given me hope;). Thanks so much for asking:D

BELLABAGS- it is the rocco mini duffle in velvet-called "maple" !!!!! go to google, type in alexander wang, then go to his webpage and look at the handbags--you will see it right there!!! i thought it looked familiar, when i was selecting which rocco to purchase i often went to the wang page for exact details, etc. It just kind of hit me last night when looking at your signature- im thinking, "uhh, that looks a lot like a luggage velvet" lol--does it look like the velvet up close in that pic on your signature?? anyways, i hope i found the right one!!! its not quite luggage, but it's pretty close!! the one in your pic looks slightly more tan.....anyways, let me know!

I don't think the bag has an age limit, but I'd choose a more subtle version if you're unsure (i.e. the Grey one with silver studs or the Black with black studs). The Brown is nice, too and not too extreme!

I am loving my grey Rocco so much, I'm considering selling someof my bags to get a black for the fall/winter. For those that have more than one, do you use them equally? Would it be a waste for me to have 2?

:graucho::graucho::graucho: I'm officially a part of the AW club! Just got my Rocco w/ black studs from the Gilt sale and I'm in :love:! Its pretty light. I was expecting something extremely heavy, is it because I got the baby rocco? I'm fending for a grey rocco now. Has anyone experience any color transfer on the light grey?

Needanotherbag - Don't worry, I'm thinking of getting another one also!

Congrats on your new Rocco!

I have the grey, and yep, it color transfers and picks up dirt very easily - I've pretty much resigned to the fact that the bag will not stay pristine. I love it so much I just dont worry about it anymore.

Bellabags23- wow, that bag is reallllly nice-- it is definitely a smoother leather. Did you ask the girl where she got it or if she knew what type of rocco it was? I am guessing (based on the look and the way she calls it "coco bag in tan leather"), that it is an older version of plain, unpebbled leather...definitely gorgeous and mysterious lol. i really love tan bags, that bag is to die for...it looks good in the smooth tan leather with shiny silver studs combo....i reallly want one lol......:love:

On the link it says it is "due for release feb 2010" so i can only imagine that it was never actually released as i have never seen it for sale...

Honestly i use mine with very different outfits, sometimes i prefer the bling on the brass studs and other times i don't want the brightness of the brass as it kinda just limits what items you can wear so the black with black studs works better sometimes.
I totally NEED both bags and i now am looking at the grey even though i LOATHE SHW, crazy huh? :nuts:
