I have ordered one but not from there (Mrs H only has the mini size, not the baby like what i wanted)

I just read that you recieved yours from Shop-bop, wonder why it smells of plastic? Strange, you should try contacting them and enquire about it being squished into a small box, maybe they will compensate you some (as they should)

thank you. i think i will try and give them a call tomorrow. it really does suck, the whole structure of it is gone. i have it stuffed right now and airing out. hope it gets better.

baby rocco came today from shop bob, and of course it was packed in a ups small parcel box all jammed in there, and it smelled really plasticky when i pulled it out. i don't know if it's just that i'm partial to the bigger bags...i'm not in love with it yet...and i thought it would have the side zipper like the mini's.

i might return it, idk. i'll try to get some mod shots up soon.

My grey Rocco mini arrived today from Shopbop, and like you, I wasn't the least bit happy about it being smushed into a small flat box! In addition, there was NO sleeper bag. I called them to complain and asked for a sleeper, but I doubt that I'll get one. Not sure at this point if I will keep it. I already have the black/black mini, but I wish it had the gold studs instead.

It is not what I would consider a true grey but instead has a hint of beige or taupe. I just snapped a picture so you could judge for yourself. Although I LOVE this bag, I'm not thriled with this color as it will probably be difficult to keep clean.

My packaging from shop bop was okay. It came in a flat rate box within a plastic Alexander Wang bag, with the black dust bag neatly folded within. I did have to repack it ao it could gain it's proper shape. What's the deal with packing a $700 bag (on sale or not) improperly? Poo poo shopbop. Mine had no noticeable odor, and the baby was lighter than expected.

Unlike yours, mine was missing the dustbag! It too was in a large ziploc type bag packed into a white flat-rate shipping box. I guess I can't complain much about that considering the shipping was free. I still want my dustbag though...that is, if I decide to keep the bag. You're right...sale or no sale-it should be packed right. Mine did not have an odor other than that of leather.

exactly! i don't get that! flat rate box :tdown: !

i can't believe you didn't get a sleeper bag..that should be a given considering it's supposed to come with them and they aren't cheap!! it smells much nicer now..like pretty leather :yahoo:. maybe it was just in the hot sun in the back of a brown truck for too long, and i was smelling the plastic bag it came in.

if they don't send you the sleeper bag, i'd send it back. imagine if you try to re-sell that, i'd say most shopers are gonna give you a hard time for not having the bag.

^^ That might explain the smell, but I'm glad for you that it went away. The cs rep that I spoke with was really nice and said that she would check to see if they had extra bags. If they don't, and if I keep this bag, I will ask that they reduce the price to compensate for the lack of one. I think that 's only fair!

I think that's standard - I ordered one from Shopbop and one from NAP; both came flattened in a shallow box. (Both came with AW dust covers, too!)

On the bright side, though, they fill out and retain the intended shape almost immediately. I must admit I have taken to storing them "flat" along with my Bbags, and there are no issues when I bring them out to use. The barrel shape bounces back right away!!

I love this! But I would have to pass on it because I would be afraid of color transfer. It would be nice if AW would come out with a smoky, darker gray.

Yes, all of these bags are shipped unstuffed and flattened into a shallow box. That's how all my AW bags have come to me.. You should have received a dustbag though, that's a bummer.
