hey girls,

The coco with the strap came out in 2010 and not in the fall of 09 correct?
Also the rrp was never 1300?

I came across an bay auction and that is what the seller is claiming. I am guessing it's an fake but thought I would ask first

OK I here are pics of the Rocco stuffed to full size next to the box they shipped it in so you can see how they had to smush it flat. I guess it is especially annoying because when I ordered from Mick Margo it can so nicely packaged - and I recent order from Bonarag was just amazing, plus that day I got a lovely package from Net-a-Porter. I just feel like this is so inconsiderate to me as a customer. Seriously.

But I still love this bag!!! :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

That sounds just wrong,wrong, wrong. I would hold out for a sale from somewhere reputable. JMO.

Congrats on getting the bag!

A few months back, when my black Rocco with black studs arrived from ShopBop, it came in a box skinnier than yours! AND the UPS guy just left it outside without ringing my doorbell!! :faint:

They're showing the navy color on Brenda at Barneys.com but not the Rocco. The color in the picture is more true to navy while I thought the Rocco had an eggplant purple undertone. It's gorgeous, I couldn't stop staring at it. Shopbop has a more accurate representation.

Hey ladies,

I got my first A Wang bag from Net-A-Porter today. It's the quilted luggage Rocco.

I loved it on sight and preferred the look to the black with black studs but I waited too long and they sold out. Anyway I have been thinking about this bag for the past couple of weeks and regretted not buying so imagine my excitement when one appeared back in stock (maybe a return etc).

Now I have it here it is so smooshy and nice but I'm just not sure that it's love at first sight. What do you guys think of the quilted luggage? Is it much less of a 'classic' than the original black/brass? Will it hold it's value? Have any of you had to get used to the style of the Rocco and taken some time to fall in love? I'm usually a Bal girl so the shape is pretty new to me.

Any opinions appreciated.

I own both black and the quilted luggage, love both for different reasons. I think the black is more classic. The luggage is more casual IMO. I also think the black will hold it's value over the luggage. I'm happy I own both, but if I had to choose just one, it would be the classic black. The black has a better shape too.

Re. the quilted luggage I really do love that look on others but the black with studs is the perfect bag for me because I love it for looking edgier/more rock and roll. I think the luggage is more casual but would work well for any season depending on what you wear it with. I also got one with a strap because I couldn't deal with a hand held.
