there's a whole rash of these all over the place now. i saw two a few weeks ago in 2 smaller boutique stores that i shop at. it was a white balenciaga brief with that ugly gold hardware and the leather was all shiny. i threw up a little bit in my mouth! and because i was looking at it, the SA said to me, "there's another balenciaga look a like over there on that shelf!"

i actually had stuff to try on in the dressing room and i just left because i was so disgusted. they lost my respect and business. :tdown:

but to stay on topic..i can't wait til my black/black baby rocco gets here!!!! it's not coming til monday!!! i can't wait!

OMG my Rocco with a strap is here from Madisonlosangeles.com, love the bag, but I'm NEVER ordering from them again. They crammed my poor baby in a flat rate box so it was smushed the whole way here!! As if that wasn't bad enough they didn't even us a single piece of tissue paper. WTH? I've gotten better packaged merchandise that cost $25 in the mail.

I put in a call to corporate to complain --- not acceptable. I'm a little worried about the bag's shape, but currently I have her stuffed with some clothing in an attempt to regain its shape.

As for 1st generation vs. this bag? Since I am a Rocco lover and have had both - this one is lighter definitely and the strap is awesome - its even adjustible!!

That's CRAZY. How unprofessional. I've gotten a fake Coach keychain (sent it back obviously) that was packaged better than that!

I got mine from Madison LA as well, but it was packed in tissue paper inside of a white box that was sealed with Madison LA stickers. That was in turn packed in a heavy brown box. The weight on mine said 4 lbs from FedEx. Everyone talks about a tag-Mine is sewn into the lining and says Alexander Wang. I absolutely love it-how about you? The strap is so versatile too! I got the forest green color two days ago! Did you use the stylewatch code for 20% off?

^ I got my Rocco from them also, and yea-the packaging was eh'! Mine was stuffed w/A.Wang plastic bags. I called, they said that's just packaging. I'm surpised at how big it is, but I'm waiting for the baby before I make my decision.

Jan...I want to see a picture of your new Rocco.....please. I have the black w' black studs and am awaiting delivery of the gray/silver from Shopbop. Still, the green sounds interesting to me and it's certainly a color that I don't have in any bag!

So I'm sending it back (they're paying for shipping!) and once they get it, they're gonna send out a new one. I'm just relieved they were so nice about it. But now I'm gonna have to wait a bit to get the new one. =\
