I think i need this bag. Time to start saving my pennies! Either the brown or grey-i rather this over the speedy. Now to decide on the size. I really wish I took the plunge on that grey one on sale at shop bop Im leaning towards the mini duffle in grey.

My Dove Grey Eniko has hints of purple. I believe the newer grays are more of a buttercream gray? Please correct me if I'm wrong

Damn, really?! Hmm, well the photos on shopbop still look pretty lavender-ish so hopefully it's not way too white and pasty. I wanted it to be a cool-warm, if you know what I mean.

I'm pretty sure the Grey Baby Rocco is the original...the lavenderish-grey. I bought one from ShopBop (and returned it... too afraid of denim transfer) and that is the color I received. They've never sold out either.

2010 'GREY' is the (beige/whitewashed tan) version. This has triple grooves on the studs.
2009 released the 'DOVE' which has blue/lavender tones. This has only a single groove on the studs. A prettier grey with blue undertones BUT is known for color transfer.

I LOVE Forest too!
I have not worn a Bal or Chanel since I got this bag, except when I had to get dressed up to go out and the AW was a bit too casual.
This color is truly versatile, and perfect for my wardrobe because I wear lots of greys, military greens, blacks.....and mostly jeans and tees of some sort.
Just as a FYI....I got caught in the rain, and the bag got pretty wet but a half hour later had dried and looks just perfect!

Well IRL it doesn't have much lavender or yellow honestly. It's not like the older grey bags for sure. See what Gotham said below, I agree with that. Mine has the triple grooved studs too.

Did you spray your bag with anything? It's been raining here quite a bit as the remnants of the hurricane bring moisture our way....so I haven't brought the rocco with me yet!

Nope, I have not put a thing on the bag and it was 100% soaked, dried beautifully and now is better than ever!

I am currently in possession of a black Rocco w/ brass studs and a velvet cut Rocco in smoke. I have to send one back and I am SO conflicted. I love love the color/stud combo of the velvet cut but I am a little concerned about how the bag might wear. It's a really unique looking bag but I wonder sometimes if it looks like...corduroy? Any of you guys seen it in person and have thoughts on wear and/or appearance?

The black is great too, of course. Love the leather. Looks really durable.

Help me decide!

I have the grey velvet cut one and I used it for about 3 weeks straight now. It holds up great. I think it's super durable. It's soft but still stiff in a way, it gets more slouchy but the leather holds up really really well. It's only three weeks, I know, but I don't baby the bag. I vote the grey one obviously, I think it's less hype and more style. But that's just my opinion of course, the black one is sure gorgeous too!

Oh now I'm disappointed...

I didn't realise there were two 'grey's', the grey I have just ordered, is the new grey, and not actually grey but a beige colour, which I don't think I like. I stupidly thought that grey meant grey!

It's a pretty colour but yeah, it's not exactly GREY. I don't understand why they'd label it like that. Just call it Sand, like the Donnas.
