thanks for the advice everyone! I have a used forest rocco and I'm nervous about the edges! I bought the botanical moisturizer and shield from LMB and just ordered the EdgeKote in neutral....which products should I apply first?

I can't remember exactly but I'm pretty sure I read here somewhere you should moisturize before you use any of the EdgeKote...I think someone here didn't and that's why the edges got really dry and cracked.

Hi ladies! I'm back! and I have an update! so being a college student and all I am unable to spend a tremendous amount of money just to have the corners of my bag fixed so instead I decided to do a DIY fixer upper. I found an old pair of soft patent leather leggings and cus a few pieces off and sewed it onto the edges.

Here it is! huge difference! you cant even tell they are sewn in unless you touch them! Also I finally bought the lovin my bag moisture. AW is starting to feel a little stiff so I bought it in case!!

You did an awesome job with it :D glad you were able to figure out a DIY

I have the Donna in black. It seems as if it's changing colours. It looks like faded black / almost green. :wtf: I noticed a few Canadian ladies in this thread suggested the Danier leather care products. I already own the conditioner and the spray sealer because I have a Danier jacket. Should I attempt to use them on my Donna? I don't want to damage it. :(

Whoaaa, you're so crafty and creative! Great idea and great outcome!

I am so glad I found this thread since I thought I was the only one with a ripping Coco Duffle!!! The same thing happened around the piping. I had the hardest time trying to contact AW, and they basically told me it had to be under warranty and they could just take a look at it - no guarantee. It's such a hassle to send it in and probably not get it fixed or replaced, so I sewed mine like Ms.ShopChic - although mine doesn't look nearly as good. haha but at least I have prevented it from further ripping. I just sewed the edges of the leather together since it was a single rip down the middle of the piping. And I added clear nail polish on top to prevent any fraying or more rippage. I swear clear nail polish really does the trick sometimes on thread.
