Same thing happened to me and I've barely use the bag! I was even considering selling it but now need to get it repaired. Honestly this is the worst experience I've had with a designer bag to date.

You have to remember they are made in China even though their materials are Italian. I usually do not buy bags made in China but love the Rocco bags and I am hoping this doesn't happen to me!

I had recently started a thread regarding the same issue your having.Feel free to check the photos of my rocco that is really dissapointing me right now.

After buying it for 950 AUS $ , ill never purchase any handbag again from AWang. The issues that i had read here on tpf had always taken me back not to get Rocco but since i had fallen for d design thats why i bought it.And now im one d those people suffering wit its poor quality.

I had often thought that the rocco leather feels cheap and made me felt like it wont really get that far.Oh well......i should have gotten an LV canvas handbag for that price.

They are made in China an the leather on the piping is thinner leather so throughout the wear it will wear down. When you compare it to a LV speedy which is canvas the LV will last longer.

Ladies may i know when you apply mosturizer to the edge and edge kote, do u leave the mosturizer till it soak in and dry? Or straight away use edge kote when its damp? Im thinking of purchasing an AW rocco but i need some info on this.. And do you ladies apply it throughout all the piping or just corners? Thank you all!

I had a problem with mine whereupon the piping had rubbed that badly that the colour had faded and it was going an ugly green/blue shade as opposed to the rest of the bag that was of course black. Now it hadn't gotten to the point where the inner piping was exposed so i saved it just in time with Edge kote. I used the black one and TBH it has really darkened the leather and has made it shinier than the rest of the bag (because i literally only used it around the piping) but it can now be knocked around and the piping is still as it looked when i applied the Edge kote so it definately protects the bag, i would recommend using the clear version though if you haven't yet gotten any faded leather :D

Thanks! May i know where did u buy the edge kote from? Is it the same brand that u used from the ebay link? I dont know if the ebay ones are the ones that everyones using.. Just want to make sure.. And maybe i will use the clear one since i just bought it, thanks for the info!

I applied conditioner, waited for it to soak in (dry), then applied edge kote. I used a q-tip to apply. I applied edge kote to the entire piping.
