Just sayin', this ep follows what Brian Buckner said at ComicCom this weekend:

"I feel like this show is ultimately about the relationship between vampires and humans. And it's about that town. I actually want to bring [the show] in a little bit. My hope is to get all these people we love living under the umbrella of one story and one thread, and really make this a show about a small town that we've all come to know and love." Hear hear, I say! Vive la Bon Temps!

He's all about tight story lines. Yay, Brian.

No spoilers, but this was a little bit anticlimactic. Will post other thoughts once everyone has seen this ep. Poor HBO - I watched next weeks promo and I was, yawn, been there. Thanks, BC for your initial post with Ep7 promo.

Hey, Moo - Happy Belated Birthday. Sorry the royal baby wasn't born on your Bday. Hope you didn't have money on that date.

Spoiler - If you haven't seen TB6.06 yet, (Eric scenes only)

Yeah, it was.

My only comment is for the end scene, regardless of intent, who it was with or whatever.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOO!
I found it really funny, actually. Don't know if that's what they were going for. ETA: Perhaps last episode's title would have been more appropriate for Sookie this episode.

Belated happy birthday Moo!

Some thoughts on True Blood, last episode (spoilers):

Another episode that´s intense, that is a change from season 5 .
Eric is having a hard time, all the time, they just don´t give him a break. :smile1:
though it could be more scenes with Eric. :shucks:
I don´t like the sexscene with Sookie and Benlow, it is strange, not only for the light glowing (fairylight?), but their interaction with each other is off, there are no convincing emotions between them.

Also, I like Tara this season, but she has to little screen time and that´s wasteful.

I still wonder about the "Big death" they been saying is coming. Though Terrys dead was sad
I would not call it shocking nor was he a " main character". Is there still a big death coming?
And who will it be? I´m still afraid it might be Eric. :-s
It is said to change the whole story.

This scene makes me smile. It is very good. :smile1:

Loved the scene /w Pam and Eric in the round chamber. But then I love all the scenes of the two of them!
However, I feel like the writers copped out by not killing Nora..... not that she still couldn't die, but the scene of him watching her die in front of him while trapped in the cage would have been hard core. Was already pretty hard core for what was there, but I think they should have taken it to the end.

The scene with Sookie and Ben: :yucky: I rolled my eyes at it. Although I wouldn't be surprised if all that fairy light equaled conception and there is a baby fairy in the future....

I thoroughly have been enjoying this season - I hated Terry dying but I can see it as a way to get rid of the ancillary storylines - I loved the fairy child naming - that was sweet.

I cannot stand that Sarah - oooohhhh I so want to see her get her comeuppance - want Pam to do it to her!

I like the idea of Nora - that Eric has this sister and the connection back to Godric - plus it gives Eric more dimension -

Topsy - really I just cannot believe they would kill Eric - he is the core of that show - if they killed him off they would lose so many viewers - it would kill the show.

The last scene? Sookie is no fool. I think (hope) this has relevance to the other Ben seduction scene...a means to an end..Niall said she would lose her light..looked to me like he gave her some back *ahem* *cough*.

Alex had some excellent scenes..comic to pathos. I like Nora..she's interesting. I hope he saves her.Really hope Sarah N gets some come uppance. That Jess/Jason scene was heart-wrenching.

Viva la Northman..midpoint of the season.

Happy Birthday Moo!

The whole Benlow thing is just off. And to me the Fae are still jokey, it's hard to take them seriously.

If Terry's the big death, the TB writers have a very weird definition of 'major'.

I love it when Eric pretends to be human.

Somethings tells me she's the 'blood bag' that Alex talked about a month or two ago. And while he's going to try and save her, he's probably still going to end up watching her die, helpless.

I thoroughly have been enjoying this season - I hated Terry dying but I can see it as a way to get rid of the ancillary storylines - I loved the fairy child naming - that was sweet.

It did give Eric more dimension. Pity they didn't give her something to do other than be Eric's sister. There were a couple of hints in the first couple of episodes that maybe she'd get a 'real' personality, but something tells me that's not going to be happening.
