Thanks ladies - don't know what is funnier, Free's Cleo Australia headlines or the Google translate on any Swedish article (thanks Vamp). Fortunately the latter is usually so poor we're left to scratch our heads until Red or someone comes along who knows better, so we're in little danger of creating scandal. Like the old days of Ted C at E!

So is this week our big TB character death? You'd think HBO would hype it harder.

Boo hoo. Shouldn't have looked at this thread before the weekend because now I know Eric didn't die because those pics clearly show him out of the white room where he was with Pam at last week's cliffhanger. :sad:

Not that I wanted him to die, just wanted to be surprised. argh! Def not watching the video /w spoilers.

Well, they are everywhere - HBO released it, so it's not like they didn't want people to know it - and anyway who knows where in the episode those particular images are from? The beginning or the end? If Eric did bite it, it doesn't necessarily have to be at the camp - just saying. That's not the spoilery part though, never fear :laugh:

Serious spoiler, which I wasn't expecting, especially since when I first watched it I wasn't paying attention to the fact that it was Episode 7, not episode 6, which is Sunday's episode. The rest of it's been hinted at in episode synopses/spoilers.

ETA: The video's been deleted at some sites, so I don't think HBO intended to be out yet, probably not until after Sunday's episode aired. Too late now!

Regarding Eric and the rumors of his demise. TB writers and producers maybe hardhead/deaf/blind to the demands of fans: too much were/ifrit/side stories, not enough Eric/Sookie, but I don't think they're that clueless as to not realize that if Eric dies before the series finale, the show's ratings will tank.

Re TB - well, the stuff that circulates is what it is. We've posted articles that made it clear a few weeks ago that Eric was in the finale so he wasn't the one who died. I don't believe they could credibly move into season 7 without their 'tentpoles' to use an industry term - Sookie, Bill, Eric - but everyone else is at risk and possible cannon fodder. or vamp fodder, whatever is equivalent. I don't think there is any such thing as being caught out when people mark SPOILER now or if you look at teasers, they'll all give it away (hence my earlier question about what they are willing to hype at HBO).

but hail Sarah Newlin! she's still hanging on.

8 degrees? Sounds wonderful. Per the internets, it was apparently 58 degrees in Reykjavik, which also sounds wonderful. Here It was the fifth straight day of heat indices over 100, and I hate it. Not as bad as last year, but still miserable.

And his being in Iceland has now caused this as an earworm:

I am happy to see him taking such a nice rest from al the work he has done this year - especially if the "Tarzan" buzz is true - he'll be working non stop next year. The grey is a nice color for him - he looks great.

43'F for summer temps - heat wave here now - 101 ' today - so wish Iceland could send us some of that chill!

Alex and a friend were just "kidding around" (dummade sig) as was explained.

Nothing more happened. It´s a non-story.
The photo in the gossip mag only shows him standing and talking to a policeman all calm. :cool:

"Stureplan" is a place (square) in Stockholm known for it´s exclusive nightclubs and resturants.
Business and mediapeople, actors, singers, different kind of celebrities hang around there. There are often long lines of people trying to get in to the clubs.
The square is crowded and the police are almost always nearby.
Of course there is going to be brawl there sometimes when there are lots of people
clubbing all night. :drinks:

I'm pretty sure that's the same night where Alex is photographed clenching his fist at Trådgarden. I remember a guy posted a tweet that night saying Alex got denied entrance into someplace. He thought it was pretty funny Alex got denied just like regular folk.
