I'm actually liking Gov. Burrell as the other "big bad'. He's a really good actor. I think his daughter will survive, for now.

Love the "my character has a lot of love for everyone around her". Yep, I give it two more episodes and they will be boning.
I just loved last episode of True Blood. (finally I watched it).
Eric/Alex was awesome!

I thought the episode was pretty tight, lots going on. The first scene...well..it still made me feel uncomfortable but the vamps are at war etc. It's not a justifcation of it, just a fact. Everyone is out to kill them, and they have to be ruthless. As an Eric shipper, did it make me say, "Hell no"? Yes, but as a True Blood fan..well we've seen him rip a guy's arm off in the basement, use Talbot in a not dissimilar way as Willa.
I thought Alex had some great scenes. As for Ginger..after seeing her jump around screaming on Pam's coffin when they were going to meet the sun, I fear that is what Eric Northman will endure if he ever fulfils that promise.

I love Ginger she was fantastic as always. People are coming up with some pretty good theories about Ben and Warlow.

So my parents have decided to downsize our home as none of us kids live at home anymore, except for me during the uni holidays. Its just my parents and the two dogs.
We are slowly packing up and omg we have so much crap, its not funny. We are going to need like 3 trucks to move.
I'm pretty sad that we are selling i've spent half of my life in this house.
PS: Packing is not fun at all. I just have to figure out how to pack my shoe collection.

Like the other ladies, I was actually poking fun at the shift in perception.
There's been a very small but aggressive segment of the fandom that's tried (unsuccessfully) to control the narrative of this forum for the past few years. Some of the women on here have been harassed due to this including receiving threatening pms from them saying they were going to "take down this board" and we've had drive-by trolls pop in from time to time including one who told us how great it would be if we "all killed ourselves."
I think this was probably one of the first places that openly discussed Alex's personal life and allowed criticism of him and that was treated as very taboo by some at the time and still is in certain circles. So, we've had drive-by trolls and members being harassed over the years and lectured about being bad fans and treated like they were Jezebels who needed to be lead back to the path of fandom/standom righteousness.
So, I was poking fun at how that perception has shifted and we're now being chided for our morals.
We've actually been very consistent and fair (imo) about not posting anything that looks personal and that might have been lifted from a private account.

Packing is horrible. I'm slowly purging my books, because many of them I realize I'm not going to read again and they fail the 'Would I want to pay to move them?' test.

Thanks for the explanation - I figured you weren't all real Jezebels! I don't go to any other AS forums so sometimes references here go over my head. People do get a fantasy in their head and they won't tolerate anyone trying to point out to them that it is a fantasy and real people are not perfect-but there still is no excuse to attack other people that way. I am new to this group and I appreciate that you have all been welcoming - sorry that y'all had to go through such nastiness.
