His hair looks all freshly washed, post TB filming?

And in one of the pics he's not wearing his cap, and the other two he is, so arriving and leaving/leaving arriving? And his hair is wet in both, so not much time between photos.

It would be really funny if Ellen was there for something entirely different and people start interpreting it as they were arriving separately for some sort of hot date. Or they were having some sort of meeting with other people, Zal, Mike Cahill etc, and those people didn't get photographed, etc.

Or they were just hanging out. He does have a house. If they were hooking up, I doubt they'd be going to CM to do it.

BTW good luck to the Hawks tonight. I notice you're a fan. Since they beat my team, I'm rooting for them to win the whole thing. Hopefully, the game won't go on forever tonight.

this is how EP dresses to go meet her alleged lover? The T shirt has bleach stains! Unusual girl.

I just do not see this - they both have homes - why go to CM and get noticed by the paparazzi? If you are having a relationship - seems you need not meet at hotels. Even if they are just friends meeting up - why go to such a high profile place? For sure you are going to feed the rumors.

At first I wanted to say that too but then I remembered that Gustaf said in the DP/30 interview that they leave for Ireland last Saturday. If he was there for any of the Skarsgards it wasn't Gustaf.
I get what cate1949 is trying to say. The CM is not exactly the most private place in the world. So if he shows up there coincidentally with Ellen tagging along people will talk. It's a matter of fact. But Alex is a man of habits that seem hard to break. So he continues to go to the CM.

I totally agree with this. I don´t think anyone should have to hide from the world if they don´t choose to do so by their own free will. They should not hide because people may talk rubbish if they go out together. It´s just pathetic. :weird:

Totally agree. Have people over, you have to tidy up

It must be awful when you see that shot and through the passenger window the pap there eyeballing the glass. Imagine trying to drive with them on either side of you, especially in that motor. I know they get used to it but it must be so annoying.

No wonder they shrink away from the pap's sometimes..though this one looks a lot like Shia LeDouche..which is enough to creep me out on it's own ...blech.

I understand the appeal of the CM for celebs. Sure they may get papped going in but it has excellent privacy inside. I think it's been established as catnip for the whole family.

Unfortunately I am a tad OCD when having visitors. I blame my mother for visiting me at my first flat and counting the dust bunnies under my radiator. *Shudder* I still get the shakes if she is coming over.

After issuing the statement via People Mag I just don't see (in a logical world) why they'd go to the Chateau Marmont on a supposed date. They've established that they're friends so if that's one of his favourite places then as friends it makes sense they'd go there (and I also doubt they went alone, he likes the comfort of a posse').

Going back in time, I also don't see either of them arranging photo ops like we've seen those in his circle do before. The East has been generating a lot of press etc on it's own, I don't think a bottom of the barrel faux romance is going to add to that, or help either of them. I like Ellen, great actress etc but I don't see any more than a strong friendship here.

Could someone from their PR team be doing this? Maybe, but again, I doubt it.

As for the CM stuff: He does have a family history with it, and a work history, but when was the last time he was photographed there? Awards season? So it's not as if he's there all the time.

I think Zal tweeted that photo last week as part of the East promotion (and because it probably did bring back fond memories from the shoot), but did he do it to promote a showmance? Highly unlikely. The romance stuff comes from the gossips. If they were going to go with a showmance for The East, I think it would have been Brit and Alex, not Ellen and Alex.

He's said he doesn't like the paps, but he's also said he's not going to let them run his life. And and as mentioned before, most recently by Bag, he's a creature of habit, if someone invites him to the CM, he's not going to go 'but there are paps there!'.

I'm not, mainly because I know what my friend's places look like! Both parents had pack rat tendencies, though mom's side of the family were organized pack rats, dad's were not. I've made the decision to get rid of things, now I just have to go through with it. Anyone need a china set? Maybe Alex needs one for his new house? I could mail it to him as a fan gift!

ETA: I have felt a disturbance in the Force, Kim Kardashian has given birth. I'm presuming the Apocalypse shall happen shortly. (joking, btw).
