The "I'm a lonely guy' from a couple of months ago was a joke. And this is the Star, so I'm pretty sure it's pulled from their butts. His PR or friends are not going to be using Star as some sort mouthpiece for him. His PR has slightly higher standards, and his friends don't talk to the press about his personal life.

In a return to critical thinking Kaiser wrote this:

"But really, Alex is fine. If he wanted a girlfriend, he would find a girlfriend. He wanted a wife, he would be married. He obviously likes being single."

I get the impression that he's happy where he is now.

I don't think anyone needs to be told that, and certainly not to "Face it". Really? :rolleyes:. Fairly obvious, regardless of other factors that were speculated on at the time. This article is a fabrication. Not all men or women for that matter seek the same out of life re: relationships. He could be perfectly happy, and probably is.

The day I take anything Star says as remotely rooted in reality, is the day I'll eat my boots.

Please do not misunderstand - I was not at all sayin that The Star article was remotely accurate - as I said - no one believe's those publications. But - he still could be looking. In my own profession I see men who are good looking, great guys, very well paid - yet they still have difficulty finding the girl that is right for them - they have no trouble finding a girl who will hook up with them - but not the "right" girl for them - when you work long hours, travel a lot it can be hard to meet someone and sustain things. There are women who have choices too and they do not always want a guy who can't be around often because of his work.

I think we all know men like that. Of course he could. He could be doing any number of things. But this all came from The Star article. It's just as easy to say he's having a blast being single. So, it's a moot point for me.

By the way, I saw 'Man Of Steel' yesterday......golly gosh it was awesome! My weird Michael Shannon crushette has grown a bit more and Henry C knocked it out of the ball park in my opinion, loved every second and it was so nice to have a day out with hubs after everything that has happened lately.

I get Askars and Henry Cavill but the rest of them? Oh H E L L no!! Bieber? Channing "Meathead" Tatum? Cory "I look constipated when I sing" Monteith, and Scott Disick??? OMG. I feel bad he's even on the same list.

The Bieber thing threw me as well. Henry's too pretty for me (like Bomer or the Chrises Evans and Pine).

My friend is an extra in Tatum's movie Foxcatcher, and having met him has decided that he's better looking in person, and also extremely nice and non-egotistical.

I'm not sure why Eric is always on the tv bad guys list, I think they're still hung up on Seasons 1 and 2. He's a little more complex than just being 'bad'.

I think it was mentioned also when he was on Conan Show about his role as Eric Northman,
"the bad guy". They joked a little about it, but nothing more.
Although Alex often speakes in interviews about Eric Northman beeing not only good or bad, but a complex character.

I think there are people, especially those who don't really watch it, or watch it but don't really pay attention to details or character arcs, still think Bill is 'good' and Eric is 'bad'. It's not that simple, and Bill undoubtedly will not stay the 'bad' blood god of Billith, that would bore the writers.

Here is a cute interview with Kristin Bauer van Straten from the True Blood season 6 premiere.
She talks about the relationships on the show, the kiss with Tara and how lucky she is
to be on the show with Alex and Rutina.
She almost cries towards the end of the interview and says that it is for her as an actress as lightning strikes. :hbeat:
