That is great news. I'm so glad your son is doing well.
Not sure exactly when this one was taken but it's tagged What Maisie Knew, NYC and was uploaded on 9/9/12. The lady describes herself as a Norwegian freelance journalist based in Soho, Manhattan. It could be just a fan pic but I'm wondering if he was doing some NYC press on his way back from TIFF.

I wonder if the TB writers will be able to throw in some reference to Rutger's role in the Buffy movie. For some reason, this would amuse me.
I think KBvS diet reference was in this case a joke, since that was Alex's primary food intake during the Hidden filming.
But I think she's mentioned in other interviews that as filming gets closer she has to start working out and eating less. She makes no claim to being 'naturally' slender or any of that stuff. (not that there aren't actresses who aren't naturally slender, but ...)

The Kale/water thing - I think she was kidding but not really - it's a good point that she and Anna have to basically kill themselves to get down to the tiny costumes or the naked all the time in a different way than the boys. I don't know how KBvS doesn't have to take a rib out for some of those bustiers...
And of course there are actresses that are naturally slender! We learned that with Beige!

Now you guys know I wasn't talking a literal 8 months on kale and water when I was quoting KvBS right? And she wasn't either. But it did give insight into just how hard the diets are they have to maintain to look that way. They can have it.
BuckeyeC, I completely forgot Rutger was in Buffy. They definitely need to reference that. If they can reference Jersey Shore then they can darn well do it with something in the vampireverse too.
Edit: That screenwriter sounds like a dud. Anyone ever watched Terra Nova? I watched one episode. It was like Avatar for Dummies. She does have a script on the Black List 2011, which is interesting. So I suppose she has a 50/50 of doing something decent (<see what I did there) *guffaw*

And personally, I think they are going to have a lot of actors/actresses umming and aahing over whether or not to take the role. It's risky. Having said that, some mediocre scripts on sexually based material have been successful - Basic Instinct comes to mind. It's schlocky, but I mean I faked my ID to get to see it, so you know. 
It has a built in audience because of the novels. It will make its money back based on the curiousity level alone.
But they had a lot of actresses turn the role down in BI before production started, most notably Michelle Pfeiffer and Julia Roberts.

They have to. I know it's not as good as the series ended up being, but it was still a fun movie.
Now, if they could cast someone from Lost Boys.
As for the 50 Shades screenwriter, I wasn't impressed with her previous writing credits. But then the odds of me ever watching a 50 Shades movie are about the odds of the Cubs winning the World Series or me winning the lotto (I don't play).
