Hi all

Back from vacation. Firstly, to Vamp: you are a doll, straight up Thank you for your concern. (and a big thanks to Squirrel for clearing that up) In the middle of our holiday, Son #1 did indeed have to go to hospital, but it was for a regular procedure he's been having every 2-3 weeks for the past couple of months. The good news is that's over and he has a decent sized Op coming in November but that will be the end of hospital visits for us - permanently. He will get a clean bill of health after that and it will be an early Christmas present for the family. Then I only have to worry about the usual accidents and scrapes of childhood.

I bet I'm the kiss of death, now that I'm back the "Drought of Askars" will start. In my absence I can't believe how many events and photos he's been part of in such a short space of time. He's a very generous man with his time. On the outside looking in and playing catchup, one thing is obvious - he's very, very good to his fans. I actually thought that might change after the scene on the Disconnect shoot (and who could blame him?) but he still maintains his accessibility.

Europe is good for him. Just like his trip to Germany (via Oktoberfest and some strategically placed German boobs) in 2010 (?) his proximity to home shows on him. He looks well and he's wearing the hell out of those suits. The photos of him with KBvS and Valentina Cervi were some of his best on the red carpet.

Yup, being around and at home does wonders, he always comes back to the States looking nice and refreshed after a visit.

I missed a few things. Rutger Hauer cast in True Blood Season 6. Be still my beating heart. The slightly creepy guy that was somehow attractive even when he played the bad guy - ie The Hitcher and Blade Runner. And the hero in Ladyhawke. Oh hell YES! I could easily see him as Warlow (yes I know the name is different but who knows how the writers will twist it, or even as a fae elder). Hopefully they make better use of him than they did with Chris Meloni.

Skars favourite sidekick: The comment by KBvS re her eating only Kale and drinking water 8 months of the year. Gawd, that's refreshing. I can't tell you how it grinds my bones when I hear actresses say they don't really work out and eat what they want (meanwhile the rest of us - aka me - have to slog out many km's on the treadmill and x-trainer to burn a few kilos). The BS meter goes off like a 9.2 on the Richter Scale.

The Lady is Kjersti Flaa, she is a norwegian Blogger who lives in New York. She is the editor-in-chief and co-owner of iNewYork.no but also writes for several scandinavian papers/magazines as a freelancer.
She had Breakfast (plus Interview) with Alexander Skarsgård at Toronto Filmfestival. She did interviews with Ryan Gossling and Kiefer Sutherland too.
