I agree, but at least we didn't get the naked cuz I'm Swedish line so there's hope. Waiting on the Interview mag interview. Anyone know when the next issue comes out?

I realized in reading the FHM interview it was done a while ago, or I'm guessing, because he uses current tense "We're shooting in Pearl Harbour", etc when talking about the filming.

Fell out of lust (a little): TB Season 1. Love the idea of long haired Eric, but that wig just didn't do it.
Fell back in lust: TB S2 with the hair cut. Still waiting to fall out of lust. I look past all the personal stuff and just like to look at the pretty. What can I say, I'm a superficial person when it comes to him.
It sounds like it might have been last fall for the British premiere of S3, the timing would be right and an interview done for an American magazine probably wouldn't refer to Leeds as "the jewel of the North".

My A-ha! Skars moment...
I was watching a marathon session of Generation Kill On Demand, (I found out about the show the day it was ending on the On Demand schedule) I was hooked, the show was just great! I made it my mission to watch all seven episodes in a row before they were gone! Then from out of nowhere (please forgive me I do not remember the title of the episode) the "Brad guy" was riding in a humvee and there was a close up on him with a really smirky smile.....at that moment I actually said out loud..."Whoa! Who is that?!?!" LOL
And now for some green tee love...

I fell for Alex in season 2 of TB. They cut his hair short and it was the best thing ever! I didnt really notice him much in season 1, the wig was horrible!
Then I saw the Paparazzi film clip and thought to myself, if Lady Gaga has him in a film clip, hes gotta be pretty special!
I havent fallen out of lust for him... he keeps getting better.
Since then, ive watched GK, tried to watch some of his swedish movies online, etc... the obsession has taken over I guess.
Btw, season 3 TB DVD sets are all over the place here in Sydney, I just picked up my copy Thursday night. Havent watched any yet, will prob start next week.

But with a strong True Blood fan following and three new movies in the works, doesn't seem like Skars has anything to worry about anytime soon.
In his new film Straw Dogs, due out this September, Skarsgård stars alongside his real-life love interest, Kate Bosworth.
But as Brett Martin writes in the new GQ article, "When asked about the relationship, he shuts down, smile disappearing, with a completeness and efficiency that could only come from growing up in the public eye. 'My father always kept the family out of the press,' he says later, almost apologetic."
In the film, in which Kate and Alex both play down-home Southerners (we were as surprised as you are), there is an especially rough rape scene where Skars' character attacks newly married hometown hottie, Bosworth.
"In the beginning [of filming the rape scene], Kate would be crying after every take and Alex would try to comfort her. By the end, everybody got really raw," Straw Dogs director Rod Lurie told the men's rag.
But shooting awkward scenes is all in a day's work for Skars, who frequently shares love scenes with his True Blood costar, Anna Paquin, who is married to their other super doable costar, Stephen Moyer.
"It's really clear to Steve and to everybody else what the deal is—which is that Anna is like a sister to me," Skarsgård tells the mag. "Those love scenes take quite a bit of acting, actually. A lot of acting."
Skars, who is the son of Sweden's biggest movie star, Stellan, and the ultimate product of a high-profile upbringing, chooses to keep his real-life romances and personal time super quiet. Again, we say maybe that's also because he doesn't have that much going on with Kate to keep on the sly. Just a hunch."It's difficult to get to know a Swede. But once you do, you're in," he says. And there's a stronger sense of boundaries. "You're never going to see a television show The Skarsgårds."
While we won't be catching Skars starring on a reality show anytime soon, get to know him better in all his shirtless glory here in his "Here Comes the Viking" spread.

Looking back, I specifically remember him in Zoolander but didn't know him by name until Gen Kill.
I know many women find him "meh" but he does it for me. Alex has many aesthetic imperfections but I feel he makes up for it with those piercing blue-green eyes. I fell in lust with him when I heard him speak in an interview. I find him more intellectually stimulating than anything else. He is quirky and has a self-effacing sense of humor which I love. I totally get his humor and I could listen to him speak all day long.....

Interesting interview with Stellan (podcast) about Melancholia, the whole von Trier thing and a bit about Alex (the usual - the moment the interviewer asks him about it, he reverts to "I have three sons who act" and "Once they turn 16, they're on their own and I don't design their lives or careers so they chose acting, etc"). There is a funny bit where the interviewer asks him about the end of the world and where he'd like to be, he responds "hopefully in bed. with someone else." and the interviewer comments that he has heard that Stellan Skarsgard orgasms are indeed world-ending...!
