I agree Free, I think he can still be a good person and nice to fans, co-stars, good friend, etc and a businessperson trying to make his career. He's not that naive or young in the business and he certainly has watched the impact of his popularity. Manipulating his image and generally being a good guy aren't mutually exclusive. It's frustrating to watch when it gets a bit blatant.

just came back from shopping nothing on alex - there was only a small thing on TB eric with the half naked picture.

Free- dont know if you get it but youknow who is on "shop till you drop" they used a picture from a couple of years ago, and mashed up experts from other interviews.

2 more days then im back to sydney for the weekend!!!
im bring home all my washing!! and looking forward to a real meal !! :woohoo:

Sydney, funny you should mention the newsagent. My other half (plus our 4yr old & 10mth old) and I had a brush with the not-so-rosy side of life today while we were in one this morning.
We'd just finished paying for our magazines when a seedy young guy made a run for the door with a charity box for children's cancer. He had a knife. He was right in front of me, I was holding the baby. Hubby and another guy tackled him & held him.
I did see the magazine but bought Instyle.
In some ofthe wilder places overseas we have lived,we have seen much worse, but this shook me because ofmy kids.Sorry to go offtopic

The worst I've seen is a gun carried by a police man which was safe.

i hope you, your hubby and kids are ok!! :hugs: i think i would start crying. thank god for the hubby and the other guy.

it makes me sick when people steal money from a charity or scam people in thinking they are a legit charaity. espically now with all the natural disasers (floods, NZ and now Japan) . bet you it was for drug money, they do anything for a hit. i work in a pharmacy and we do the needlle exchange program and the methadone progam too, most are nice on the meth program (we have had to kick people off the program for bad behaviour) but the ones doing the exhange they scare me alot.

BB, Its usually pretty laid-back.I can look after myself,I have a brown belt in kyokushin.When you have a baby in your arms, its a whole new ballgame.i was pretty shaken up,mostly from anger.Hubby said the guy was high, from his eyes. It could have gone badly.
The magazine is called"Shop Til You Drop"

Well, I started with Judo once but that's it. Can't even do the Judo roll anymore. Have thought about Tae-Kwon-Do but I think I'm too old now to start with it.
And was what in this magazine?

i did judo too like 10 yrs ago i think i dont remember how old i was but i was on white belt for ages before i quit

shop till you drop is an australian mag about fashion and shopping etc...it had KB on the cover but the cover picture it looked like it was taken from the time of superman cus she looks young and the article inside is a bunch of other interviews shes done and they just muurged them together pretending they did interview her by adding little comments. i noticed some lines that were on JJ i think for the lucky mag. this mag tends to do it alot ive noticed.

Now we'll never know what's the important information from this magazine. Maybe Alex got married and we'll never know. Yeah, right. As if Beige could hold onto herself about this.
I'm thinking positive and hoping for a Joan's or gym outing this week.

Sounds familiar. They do that with interviews from Alex here too.

Well, yesterday one hour at the gym. 30 minutes cross-trainer and 30 minutes cycling. Alex definitely won't keep up with us.
Today is the big day. Our personal trainer will tell us what to do and we finally get a professional training schedule. :yahoo:
