Off to catch up, shall I just start on page one of the new thread? Yup. Unless there is something I gotta see in the tail of the last.....

Yes, it is totally not a surprise he was there, they do date, yes, her parents were there, (no pics? she's been pic'd with them before, are they in the witness protection program now?), etc, but her PR folks are using him majorly to get the gossips to pick this up. Because the rest of the party list wouldn't attract a mention in any of these columns without using him to get it. She doesn't have much else going on, obv has to flog the jewelry thing (although they might want to talk to the real designers and get them to not tweet about how Cher/KB are using their pieces for the line) and wouldn't get coverage otherwise, but gawd, give it a rest. None of the other Nylon gatherings needed this much push, the other cover girls had more to bring to the table, literally and figuratively I guess. Is this supposed to make her seem more likeable? Family talk, all her friends around, gee, I'm modest and this stuff makes me uncomfortable? I can't tell what the objective really is here.

This is what keeps me thinking. Why does he let himself get used so much? His desire to become a serious actor must've totally be gone if he keeps on playing this PR game. And when he suddenly comes out telling "he's madly in love with her" I start laughing really loud and really long and really hard.

KB is still good friends with Arlene. Trust! Arlene will be at Coachella and I can expect Cher to go as well. We may see Bjorne at Coachella but we will not likely see Lisa. I am going out on a limb to say we will not see the Larsons at Coachella this year. Alex does like to travel with his posse. Maybe Gurra will attend if he is still around

Moneybrother is the area and I think he and Alex may get together this weekend. Just a thought.

I also have a hunch. The last sighting of Lisa was with Alex at Joan's when he was hugging the brunette girl. I think the Brunette was Lykke Li and she was hanging with Lisa and Alex stopped by to say Hi.

If he really wanted privacy he would've taken her aside and talked one or two words with her about this. This way he somehow confirms that he agrees with her behaviour or at least doesn't mind her name-dropping.
And since we now determined that he doesn't mind he could at least man up and behave like a boyfriend in public and hold her hand or something. We can take it, Alex. We saw worst.

I agree. He needs to treat her better. It is her fault that she is allowing him to treat her this way, BUT it says NOTHING good about him that he treats her like this. His appeal goes down the drain when he shows that his true colors is behaviour like this.

This could be actually true. I made a pic comparison and she also has an interesting nose, just like Charlotte Gainsbourg. Though most of the time she has blonde hair I think the hair color at Joan's looked freshly dyed. She's supposed to be 25 (in 5 days) but somehow she looks older in those pics. I don't know.

ITA! Spectacle is right! If he didn't act so stupid around the paps and owned his choice in girlfriend, they would leave him alone because there would be no story then. Every time he acts like the ultra, super important movie star that he isn't, it just makes the paps chase him more. Thus, I have to assume he wants the paps to chase him.


BTW....I saw Jim Parracks(sp?) new movie, Battle: Los Angeles, and it was really good! He plays a Marine with some PTSD issues. He looked cute as a Marine. Good for him!

I think that being seen drunk/high/whatever in public will negatively affect his being viewed as a serious actor. Just my opinion. Who in the hell carries bottles of wine to a concert or carries bottles of wine out of a concert?

I think Alex is anything but low maintenance !
He is one of those guys who thinks he is low maintenance but is really high.
He is admititly stubborn, a Virgo and has a posse. High maintenance!!

FYI: I didn't know that Jim Parrack and Alex shot their movies at the same time in Shreveport. Now I understand that eye contact/exchange when Jim told his fan encounter story. Alex was obviously familiar with those fans.

I'm thinking the high maintenance issue would be more emotional...because he is stubborn, a virgo, and has to have 28 people around him all the time. Says to me that he does not like being alone.

As for the rest, how many times do you think we are going to see that South Stockholm shirt? Probably 50 more times. Those pants that used to be black but have now turned a sickly gray color...come on. If his clothes choices don't say low maintenance, I don't know what does.
